my favorite part of this eppi was the promo for the next one!!!! omg chris is like "tell me you're not in love with him" and lorelai doesn't answer.....omg im sooo excited for next week!!!

Ok during the part where Christopher was singing, my dog woke up and started stareing at the TV all confused. It was funny.

GiGi: I love that they have given her a part she is doing well and she kind of looks like Lor.
Lane: Poor lane it looks like she is having quints. She is very cute and her concerns sound a lot like my own. (no i am not with child)

OH - we were talking about "Where are the La la la la's" and so this eppy they were BACK!  In force! As an eppy - it was - not great for me.  I think i am tainted now, with the new writers or something.  I am just not happy. I won't spoil, some have not watched.  Thanks.

so totally lor is reminising about her feelings for luke
just the way she was looking at him while they were in the store
while he was talking to rory
you could tell she was rethinking EVERYTHING with chris.

and like it said in the previews
luke has always been there for rory like a dad
chris was NEVER there.
luke and lor are MEANT to be.
same with rory and logan Smiley


ok what was that thing lor was going on about in the very beginning of the eppisode when she was telling rory she couldnt just right the letter because it came out all jibberish, just the part that rory repeated at the end
it was really funny and now i cant remember it.
haha

the pnly part I remember is ... monkey, monkey, underpants.  I thought that rant was hilarious and so true to Lorelai's wacky thought process.

This was an ok episode for me.  Loved seeing Lane and Mrs. Kim again.  Really looking forward to next week after seeing the promo.

So, I was expecting any resolution with Rory and Logan to be off screen.  Seems they both took their share of the blame and made up.  And, I think writing a letter to Lucy is a good idea, since Lucy won't see her yet.

Lorelai!  It's better to just tell the truth about the character reference.  Just tell Christopher, say that it's not fair that Luke's loses all custody of April and you want to help. Yes, it would be awkward, but pretending everything is fine and leaving a big thing like that hidden away will just make it worse.

I thought it was nice that Rory thought to buy Christopher a telescope.  Reminded me of Go Bulldogs and Christopher's geekiness at Yale.

Did the voiceover of the letter come in this episode, or was it in previews for next week?  I'm pretty sure previews are considered spoilers and not meant to be posted in the episode thread(correct me if I'm wrong) so I won't say anything about it yet.

Okay, totally reversing my position about the honesty thing, but was it really necessary for April to mention that she already got a rock polisher?  I've gotten double gifts before (mainly books.  People buy me books and sometimes I've already bought a copy) but I don't mention it unless asked.  Especially since she seemed to be trying to play up the enthusiasm of the gift.  Kind of ruined the act to say it was so great -oh, and she already had one.
I don't know who wrote this, but I think as a showrunner, DR's style is better with the quiet moments.  The banter and things just sounds forced.  Too much trying.
