Santa's Secret Stuff: Lorelai, Rory, and Christopher celebrate Christmas as a family for the first time; Luke asks Lorelai to write a letter of recommendation on his behalf in his custody battle over April; and Rory writes a letter apologizing to Lucy for keeping her relationship with Marty a secret.

I just want Christopher out of the picture so badly!!! He always ruins Lorelai's life at the wrong time! Geez!  Wink I hope that we will see more of Lane and Zach... I am curious to see how Lane is doing and how big her belly got!!! tehe!

I am with you both all the way.  Luke is such a  sweetie and so is Logan.  I think this episode is going to be the turning point.  I cant wait!!!!

Yea, it is time for Luke and Lorelai.

After reading the show spoilers for this episode and episode 13 I get the feeling that Luke is trying to get Lorelai back.
He asks HER to write the letter when almost anyone in town could write the letter. He could have asked Liz.

Also in episode 13 it says the Luke and Chris handle Richard's health in very different ways.
First of all why would Luke be involved in this if it is so akward between him and Lorelai. You know he has to be doing something.
Then there's Chris who goes off and sulks about a fight with Lorelai. I think Lorelai will figure out that she is with the wrong guy. No one wants to be with a guy who doesn't try to fix thing when everything wrong.(At least, I don't.)

Just to point out, you shouldn't talk spoilers in these threads. There's a board meant specifically for spoilers. This is out of respect for SPREES and SPREE aspirants. Just keep that in mind next time, k? Cool beans.

And technically, Lorelai doesn't turn forty for another couple of months. Just thought I'd point that out.

To conclude, "Growing old is inevitable, growing up is optional." Just 'cuz you're forty doesn't mean you have to act like it.
