I read every single one of those!! My 3rd grade teacher read Frindle to us so techinally I didn't read it, I had it read to me (If that makes sense  Grin )

So quick rant.  I was planning yesterday to go to the library to get some books, because I've read all of mine at least twice, and I finished the one I bouth last Sunday on Thursday.  I go there, and they're closed! I was very angry, and am now in bok withdrawl.  So does anyoen have any suggestions for when I go tomorrow?

I read "The Razor's Edge" by W. Sommerset Maughm (it was on the Rory's book club list) and it was an amazing book! I would highly

recomend it to all who love great literature. There are also two movies made of it, the old black and white one is better, but the newer

movie as a serious Bill Murray in it, he is good in the movie but I do not believe he portrays the character well.  Right now I am reading

Milton's Prose, Bacon's Essays, and "Swann's Way" by Marcel Proust. All three of these books are really good.  Has any body else check

out the Rory's Book Club list? There are some really good books on there.

I've checked out Rory's Book Club list but I don't think I've read many books on there. Of course, I haven't been able to read for my own enjoyment lately because I have to read so many books for school.  Tongue

I've started reading books on her list, too. I have to read so many books for school, but one the cool things we get to do is review them online and some of the reviews are published with the books because the copies we get are not edited or uncorrected, some don't have jackets either. Last year I was really into learning about the Holocaust and this year we had a Holocaust unit and I had alreadyread all the books and more. Reading is great and I can't wait until the summer when I have more time to spend on reading books from various book lists I have gathered over the years.

Well I love to read, I am currently reading the number two of Ramses by Christian Jacq, I loved the first one and this is starting out just great. I finished reading "The Angel's Promise" by Frédéric Lenoir and Violette Cabesos, it's a great historic novel I couldn't stop reading!
I also read Harry Potter 6 in english (I'm from Mexico), and I want to read The complete Chronicles of Narnia in english, to improve my english as well as my pronunciation (I like to read some of the chapters out loud so I can hear myself and the rithm of the language).
I read another great book, it's called "Caesar's Druide" by Claude Cueni, it is another historic novel.

Lol, I did that with Harry Potter 6. But only when I was home alone because otherwise my parents would think I was crazy!

Yes, I know what you mean. I do it alone in my bedroom with the door closed so no one could hear me, that helps me focus on the rithm and not beinf self-conscious of someone hearing me  Cheesy

It took me 6. It was so crazy because I had A LOT to study those days and so I just read it in the bus, subway or while I walked. I still do that walking and reading thing, once you learn how to it's easy.
