Went to the Library and got The Notebook-Nicholas Sparks and Timeline-Michael Crichton
Anyone read these? And if so how did you like them?

The Notebook is really good and it goes into The Wedding which is also good.  Both books were meshed together to make the movie The Notebook, but the first was used the most.  Both are good reads

Chris - I'll work on a sig graphic that people can use if they want to advertise the book club thread. How's that work? Let me know if you want any other help. I'll think about some books to suggest!

Arlight, I'll get working on something this weekend, how's that sound?

And are we thinking all levels of books, all genres of books, and all authors? Or are we thinking we want to stick with a specific genre or level of book? There's a lot of different people interested so we want to pick books that everyone will be interested in, though knowing that sometimes you may just not be able to get into a book.

I like the idea of having the person who suggested the book, lead the discussion around the book. Maybe that person creates the reading schedule for the book too??

And a list of books to vote on would be grand! Smiley I'm excited for this! I just hope that I can really participate with my schedule and free time allotment.

Hey!!
Sounds awesome sooks... thanks hey Grin
Yeah, the winning book & suggester should pretty much take the lead in all areas for that specific book!

Erm, also so far.... no one has PM'd me with book suggestions. Maybe posting them on the thread, would prompt others to post ideas, and get discussion going?! Just throwing that out there?!
