I got the 7th Harry Potter book at midnight! The night it came out! I haven't finished yet, I still have 150 pages left. But it's really good so far! I can't wait to read more tonight!

Well I'm sure you are going to love it!  I also got it the moment the shops opened and it was released and proceded to start and finish it all in one day.  It's been my MO for the whole Harry Potter series, I have yet to be able to put one down without finishing it.  I think once I feel alseep with the book in my hands, catnapped for about 3 hours and then picked straight back up where I left off lol.

JK Rowling has very much done this wonderful series justice with this final book.  I loved it so much and can't wait until some discussion takes place in this thread.  It gave me that wonderful magical feeling all over again, which I think just topped off how much I loved that the Order of the Phoenix movie was a welcome return from the last few movies being so dark, and also gave me that awesome magical feeling I got when I read the book.

I have yet to finish the book. There was no way I would have been able to finish it in one day. I told myself I was going to, but I was way too tired. But I do read 100 pages every night. But I was kinda being lazy last night cause I only read 90 pages last night. =9

I <3 this book series more than any other. JK Rowling has done a wonderful job with this book. It was so suspenseful and just plain awesome! I'm almost scared to read anymore because I'm scared another big character will die. A lot of people have died. I'm so scared that Lupin's going to die. He's my second favorite character. [[Sirius is my all time fave]]

Last book discussion: Not yet, we wouldn't want to harm the fragile ears of those who sadly have to wait!!

But on the other note, my favorite character(s) are Fred and George...they both have great lines and are so funny.  Although I think I'm most like Hermione, that whole studious, reading-for-fun bit fits me...kinda a lot.

This may be too general, but I'm looking for book suggestions.  It doesn't matter what kind of book, classic, fiction, nonfiction, whatever, I just hate going to the library now because I get so frusterated looking at the books which I can't pick.

Currently Reading: The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde.  I like it so far...but has anyone read it?

I just finished the HP book tonight. I'm so up for talking about it via PM with anyone! I really do need to share/hear everyones reactions about it.

HP fans are the only ones who understand! My cousin doesn't read it but I still would randomly stop and text her after reading something shocking. But since she doesn't know the store the story it made it more hard.. its also hard for non fans to get how the book causes ones feelings to be the way they are!

I'm obviously not going to say anything to spoil the book (duuh) but I did most enjoy it. Its very dark but hey, the whole HP series is. Though this one seemed tons more dark/evil. Still I loved it! and now its still sitting next to me here on the floor and I keep staring at it thinking how much I cannot believe that the series is actually done. Sad

Kami I'm with you there hun.  I'm sooo sad that the series is over.  It's my second major fan letdown this year.  First Gilmore Girls, now Harry Potter (although at least we knew this one was coming).

I loved it soo much, and enjoyed all the parts, dark, light and magical.  I also keep looking at my book thinking, maybe if I read it again I won't feel such a sense of loss.  But I doubt it.  It's so hard to love something so much and then have to let it go.  Again!!

Ugh I know what you mean! I don't think I'd be able to read the book again and not feel that sense of loss feeling. Sad In fact, I don't know how long it'll be till I can read the series over. Man, this is way more depressing then I thought it was going to be.. hahaha. Reminds of the night the final GG episode was on. Today at around 7 PMish I continued reading from chapter 24 and went all the way though and finished sometime at 1AM.

I also loved everything in the book! Yes it is super hard to lose something that is so loved. One thing about it is still tugging at my heart!

I haven't gotten to read anymore of the Harry Potter book last night seeing as I had to get up early, but I'm so excited to finish.

I think I'm most like Ron honestly. Sarcastic, slacker, funny, I get better grades but I hate school like he does. =] I'm also a bit of a chicken. I'm not nearly as brace as Harry.

My favorite characters list:

1. Sirius Black
2. Remus Lupin
3. Ron Weasley
4. Hermione Granger
5. Mrs. Weasley

Sirius Black~ I don't know what it is about him but something about him just made me love him instantly. He was so loyal to James and Lily and took great care of Harry. He's just so awesome!!

Remus Lupin~ Just like Sirius he was loyal to James and Lily and would have died for them. I just love him so much!! lol

Ron Weasley~ He's just funny and he reminds me a lot of me. I <3 him.

Hermione Granger~ She sorta reminds me of me but she the girl heroine in the series so I can't help but love her. =]

Mrs. Weasley~ She's funny too! But she's not trying to be funny and I love how she bugs the kids too no end. It's funny!! And I love the sweaters she makes for them. Maybe I can get her to make me one. =9
