I really don't think Rory would have brought up abortion, but I'm not going to get into that.
I loved the Zach and Lane pregnancy suprise last week, they're going to have some messed up kids. I mean really, their father thinks that all twins are attatched.
And this board needed a tiny bump... it's been over a month since the last post.

I love Lane and am so so happy for her and everything she is!
I identifed with Lane right away, myself being from Korea!
The best thing about Lane is that she does what she wants
and doesn't let people stand in her way!

Lane and Zach seem to be happy, he seems to be supporting her and that is what a good partner should do!
They seem to be working things out pretty well, and for a young couple these days, that's wonderful!
I think Lane will be a great mother, she's got a lot of experience in what she DIDN'T like growing up and she's open-minded
so she may try new and different things!

I truly wish I had a great friend like Rory while I was growing up the whole time! Lane is definitely one of my favorite characters!
It's been more than interesting and GREAT watching her mature - she's become an individual for sure!
She's one of the ways the show keeps 'balanced' I think! She brings something different to the show,
she keeps it grounded but new and exciting - and I think she keeps Rory grounded - real!

I'm gonna have to chime in on this abortion dealie you guys have going...

First off, you have to consider religion. Lane is an Adventist. Abortion? No way, no how. She would never consider it, I'm sure & if the thought would ever cross her mind, her mother would never allow it. It's just not in their belief system. (Because beneath Lane's rock-and-roll exterior, she still has the morals and values that Mrs. Kim instilled in her.)

Also, Lane has a big heart and she loves Zach, and these babies are "the fruit" of their love. It doesn't matter if it was an unplanned pregnancy--she'd never have the heart to do abort. (And why would she? She has the love and support of everyone around her.)

I'd also like to mention that it is HIGHLY unlikely Rory would suggest abortion, because as "liberal" as she may be, she knows that even a clueless young girl like Lane can evolve into a wonderful, loving mother. And you know why that is? Because Lorelai raised her, and under harder circumstances; without the love and support of her parents, a husband, or friends, even. Mentioning abortion was completely out of the question, because Rory knows that Lane can very easily succeed as a mother.

Finally, I'd like to state that I am very happy that Zach & Lane are going to be parents and I'm sure that they're going to be great ones.  No one really "knows" how to be a parent--there's no manual, no precise way of parenting, you just learn as you go along. They may be clueless now, but they'll learn...

I love that picture of Lane! As a matter of fact, I was going to put that as my personal picture! She's just adorable...and even IF Rory suggested abortion, I think Lane would stand up for keeping her child. I can definitely see Lane being a wonderful mother!

It's cool that they're having a baby!!!  Can't wait to see how that turns out!  I did a search on Todd Lowe the actor that does Zack and found out he's actually in a band called pilbilly knights!  Funny. I wonder if that's how he ended up being Zack.  They just realeased an album.  It's  pretty good.

I'd like to add my vote of appreciation for this couple.  I don't think I'd like Zach on his own (the whole stoner-like quality doesn't appeal) but as a husband, he has really good qualities.  He's patient, understanding, caring.  Heck, even when they played up the goofiness by making him think they were having conjoined twins, he was still trying to make the best of things and be reassuring to Lane.

I like Zach but don't kill me but I still haven't decided if I like him more than Dave. There was just something about Dave, I dunno. I do really like Zach and he really cares about Lane and they are right for each other nonetheless I miss Dave. and I wish we could have seen a return from him.

Lane and Zack are adorable.  I loved watching the progression that Zack made as he transitioned from being this suave guy, "escorting" 2-3 ladies at once, having them over for beer - - to a really sweet and caring boyfriend.  I loved how jealous he got when Brian wrote a song about Lane!

I wish we could have seen their babies, that would have been cute. 

The whole dynamic of this couple was awesome; the fact that they were in a band together, had previously lived together, made the band work despite the fact that they were romantically involved...

Long live Zack and Lane.

I just watched the episode with Dave and Lane - and think it was so cute of Dave to go through so much for Lane, with regards to Mrs. Kim. But, I guess any guy who really wanted to date or be with Lane, had to go through hoops where Mrs. Kim was concerned. It showed dediction and determination and how much they really wanted to be with Lane. I think Zach takes the cake though! He really went all out - wrote the song, asked Mrs. Kim, hung in there with the band, supports Lane and the family, he's one great guy! Lane and Zach are so cute together too! He's such a 'tough guy' exterior but he's got feelings too! haha

ha ha - i have to admit i laughed when i saw Sooks describe Zach as having a "tough guy exterior". Maybe she means because of his wise-guy remarks or his ladies man attitude with the groupies before Lane won his heart. I think of him as a California stoner surfer dude mixed with a pinch of 1960s hippy dropout. How he wound up in 21th century Connecticut may be a mystery to me, but i'm glad he did because he & Lane are among my fave GG couples. They are funny and sweet and amazingly commited to each other. Who would ever have thought that Zach would see it all the way through, first marriage and then fatherhood? That is pretty dang rare in GG Land, where people (male and female alike) have a disturbing tendency to run from commitment. Jackson joins Zach on the List of Full Commitment, but it is a short list.
