I spent a couple of hours today attacking the problem and sent a few inquiries to the makers of our forum's software for additional guidance.  Fingers crossed that I'll get some good leads soon.  This is getting frustrating.   Huh

Well have you done anything yet Heidi?  The reason I ask is today is the first time I haven't been unceremoniously booted off when trying to view a thread or make a PM or post.  YAY!!!!!!  Hopefully that means it's solved and fixed.

Heidi I have a comment.

I lurk at many message boards and I recently discovered something. At some boards, the mod will lock the place up while he/she is on vacation. Can I say thank you for not doing that?! I don't know how we would all cope if the ORG was locked for a few days while you were away or something. I was just thinking, "man, I could not handle a locked forum." So thank you.

Speaking of which, I hope all is coming along with fixing the ORG issues so you're not stressing about it.

The search to find and repair our Forum bug issue is ongoing, but I'm happy to report that we've achieved a bit of daylight.   (Things are still pretty dark, but I can see that small, shimmery ray of hope.)

I've come to learn that the issue our Forum is currently experiencing is not-so-common.  In fact, it has stumped a few of the SMF experts (SMF is the name of the software the ORG Forum runs on).  However, and luckily, I've been working with someone who has taken me (and the Forum) under his wing.  Out of the goodness of his heart, he's been working long hours to fix things and bring the Forum back to its normal self.  I 'met' him online just this week while attempting to find answers on another forum and he's been nothing but helpful ever since. 

Nightbre, I give you my thanks.  We may not have solved everything yet, but I sincerely appreciate your willingness to help and dedication to the cause.  On behalf of everyone here (even the Internet Explorer users who cannot login, heh), I thank you!   Hearts Clover Star

Whoo Hooo! Thank you Nightbre for your time, help, and dedication to resolving the issues that Heidi and the ORG have been experiencing!!! I don't think I just speak for myself, when I say that a day without access to the ORG is like a night without stars. Wink

I had problems getting in earlier this week but tonight seems to be going well so far, have been logged in and am posting! Grin

Here's to a successful resolution to the problem as we enter the new year!! I have a good feeling that things will get sorted soon!!

And HUGE thank you, Heidi for sticking with it as frustrating as I'm sure things have been for you lately!! Your time, dedication, and effort is so much appreciated by your ORG family!! We wouldn't know what to do without you and this fantastic form that so many of us call 'home'! Keep your head up...
