Paul Anka (the Dog) Appreciation

How long do you guys think Paul-Anka will be around? I mean Lorelai said she had pets before and none of them lived. I hope Paul-Anka will! He's cute!

I totally agree! But when you're the second family to that dog you can only try to make it better. Which we did with some stuff. He isn't scared of it anymore like his claustrofibia....it's not gone, but when we wanted the blinds closed he got panicked so we put down the blinds lower every night..he never knew what we were doing. So now he isn't afraid of that anymore. He did think we locked a dog in our oven though...It was his reflection in the glass.  He barked like a mad-man and we couldn't figure it out for hours. So now we have to hang a towel over the glass when we go to sleep. And he also lets me pet him close to his ass already...okay the rest of my family still isn't allowed that, but it's a start. He still is afraid of big dogs or dogs that bark at him, but he just sticks next to his big brother when they go outside so. I'm not gonna list the rest of his issuess cause that would mean I'd be here all day long.

well, my dogs was attacked when he was puppy from a big dog, and now he isnt affraid of them, he chase them and he hate cats, especially since when one cat scrached his nose...
and when he was puppy he barked on the mirror but he figured it out for few days...

Yeah our eldest has the same problem. He's so sweet at home, but when he's outside he turns into a little paranoid dog. He especially hates small dogs cause he was bite by one as a puppy...he was a very perky puppy and older dogs don't like that. And then he got big and all the dogs became scared of him. So my parents bought his little brother cause he really needed a friend. He was so sweet and wanted to play with the other dogs but they all ran away from him or bit him to make sure he wouldn't bite them. It was really sad to watch. But now he has a little brother who is his friend and partner in crime. And he makes sure nobody messes with the youngest.

I love the character of Paul Anka because he shows that Lorelai is growing, she can take care of a pet without killing it.  I hope she starts bringing him to the Dragonfly, because I think a lot of funny stuff could happen.  She will always love that dog because it got her through the dark times without Rory.  Or, he could end up like Tiger on the Brady Bunch and just be forgotten...

I freaking love Paul Anka!  He reminds me a lot of my kitty cat, believe it or not.  Genious addition to the cast.
