The lyrics in case any kids haven't heard the song on your oldies station:

And they called it puppy love
Oh I guess they'll never know
How a young heart really feels
And why I love her so

And they called it puppy love
Just because we're seventeen
Tell them all it isn't fair
To take away my only dream

I cry each night these tears for you
My tears are all in vain
Oh I'll hope and I'll pray that may be some day
You'll be back in my arms once again

Someone help me,help me please
Is the answer up above
How can I ever tell them
This is not a puppy love

Someone help me,help me please
Is the answer up above
How can I ever tell them
This is not a puppy love

Well, I am partial to little, cute, cuddly, furry animals Smiley
At first, I thought that he was just a replacement for Rory and would be dismissed once she got home, but the personality they have given him makes him a true Gilmore.  I loved how Luke pampered him back from his mis-doings at his apartment.  I want a dog just like him Smiley

Also, what kind of breed is Paul Anka?  I don't know much about animals, my Mom was allergic so we didn't have any pets.

Thanx!

Sue

Loved the addition of Paul Anka to the show.  He has his own personality that completly works with the show.  Hope he doesnt become a forgoten like tiger

I have a dog named Captian, he is 3.  He is the closest thing Im gonna have to a kid for a long time.  He liked Captian Morgan Spiced Rum when he was a puppy hence the name.  Dont worry he only gets a fix about once or twice a year!

Paul Ankas SO cute. I envy the person who really owns Paul Anka out of GG. Remeber that episode when I think Paul Anka was sick because Lorelai fed him some human food??? She was crying, and he is an important part of Lorelai's life and addition to the show and Lorelai LOVES him, so I think he will still go on, though I do wonder, did Paul Anka really get fed that stuff when filming??? DUH NOT, but it looks SO real...... How did they train him??? OH I SO WANT A DOG LIKE HIM!

Ya know, they never actually said what made Lorelai buy a dog and name it Paul-Anka. Does anyone know why Lorelai bought a dog? I didn't really catch that part.

They didn't say it, because it was really obvious why she bought Paul Anka.

Paul Anka is just adorable.  Everytime I see him, I just want to leap thru the tv and cuddle with him - lol.

I think I saw your dogs on Dogster.  They're so sweet!

I have a Siamese cat, named Ozma.  She's crazy.

I currently only have a crazy, but very lovable golden retriever. My past pets include 5 rabbits, 1 guinea pig, several hermit crabs, beta fish, goldfish and I think that's it.  My pets have alot of tragic stories though.  My first rabbit broke her leg and had to be put down, the second was an attack rabbit, the third lived for 7 years until i found her dead in her hutch last winter, the fourth broke her back and had to be put down and the fifth was only a year and a half old when i found him dead.  I had a corgi mix but she got very protective and so we had to give her back.  My guinea pig was originally my brother's but he ignored her so i took her and then she got depressed and died.
