Well, I like Lane and Rory together more, but I like Paris in general more because she is so amazing. So funny, so insane, so competitive, and yet, so likable.

I like Lane better then I do Paris but Paris is really changing in the episodes so I do like her plus she is being a great friend to Rory.(sometimes)

I like both their characters, but I would definitely choose LANE. I always hated how in the later seasons they  kind of forgot about Lane and made Paris Rory's best friend. Lane was there from the start and should of been on the show more.

Lane( yes, her love for music-coz i can't live without it!) ...must admit when I watched my first epi's wasn't fond of Paris...but she got alot better throughout the series, but that fling with the professor ...hmmm... was dodge.. Undecided

It's close but I would say Lane. In my opinion she is an underrated character.
I really couldn't stand Paris when she was at Chilton during the first 3 seasons, but then she grew on me during her Yale days.

There he 2 most oposie people one has strict parenting and turns out like lane (and lora) free spirit other has no parents and became the most strict person to herself almost to insanity anyway my opinion...

I agree! She is one of a kind. She is really amazing, agressive and gets things done. I don't want to be exactly like her but it would be nice to have some of her good qualities. She is very true to herself and very proud not to mention really strong and focused.
