Rules for the forum.
Please read these rules before posting, if you have any questions about any of these, do not hesitate to ask a moderator about them.

#1: No Star posting- . Please try to limit your Star Posting. It's when you post very short replies, like "luke is sooo hottttt" or "omg! jess!" or the simple "lol me 2." Frowned upon. Please don't just post to boost your post count. When you post please post more than that, such as full sentences that contribute to the topic of the thread. Exceptions are made for game threads

#2:  No double posting. When you have written something and no one replied yet use the edit button to add on. It makes it less confusing and easier to follow the thread.

#3: Duplicate threads- Please before starting a new topic make sure it is one that is not already open. Duplicate, or even triplicate threads, make the forum more confusing and slow down forum traffic. You can check if it's already been created by using the handy-dandy Search function, on the top of the forum page.

#4: Correct boards: When opening a new topic, please make sure it is in the right board.
Example 1: Any Game Threads---> General Forum
Example 2: LUKE IS A FLANNEL GOD! Topic-->Luke Thread-->Don't post a new topic, just go to the Cast and Characters thread about Luke already there.
Example 3: I LOVED EPISODE _:_!-->Go to that thread. It'll be there. Don't post a new topic!
Example 4: I need ___ tape. ---> Go to the General Forum, and in that, find the Tape Trading Thread.

#5: Correct spelling: We're not English teachers, but it is in the general interest of readers on the gg.org to at least attempt to use proper grammar and spelling. It is just easier to read and understand you. Also, please don't type in all caps.

Rule #6: Be nice! We all love Gilmore Girls, and we all want to be friends. Cheesy

Rule #7: Have fun posting!!

Do you think my hair looks cool? 'Cause, you know, some days I wake up and I'm like, cool. Some days I'm like, could be cooler. Like today I got up and I was like, left side cool, right side not so cool.

I have to admit I do agree. I mean I doin't always like coming on and seeing topics that could go in a thread thats already up or ones that are real similar.

Anyways glad you put up the rules Beth. I think it was needed.  Wink

Yup, stickifying now.

Also! Since no new episodes until January 10th (so sad! Whatever will I do for fun!?) no new episode topics on this board. Head over to general  or cast and characters for your GG fill, or Episode Boards 1-5 to catch up, but no new topics here. Can't wait until 1/10/06!

Thanks for the clarification, Beth. Undoubtedly, someone would've started a new topic, or thought about it.
Not me, starting topics scares me.

I'm glad that you have rules because things go crazy without them.  I understand when you say short phrases are a no no, but I dont think us fans will have a problem with that if you know what I mean.

Rule # 4 bis: Keep spoilers in the spoiler threads only:

This way, people who do not wish to know about the spoilers can still enjoy the forum.

No, you don't need to read all the rules on every forum.  But, if the rules are just listed on one forum, it'll just give people the excuse of "we don't post in the general/character/episode/take your pick threads, so how could we possibly see the rules, and it's not our fault, and simply informing us that the rules are there is being so mean to us, and don't tell us anything!"  You only need to read them enough to know what they are and follow them, and having them posted in various places on the site means that the excuse that they didn't know the rules isn't really a good one.

I'm really sorry but it was my first post and i posted a new thread instead of just going under the episode it was in. I'm sooooo sorry, I didn't mean to.  Embarrassed

LORELAI: I just thought up a great idea for a reality show. You pull people over who have those "honk if you love whatever" bumper stickers, you kidnap them, and you make them do whatever the bumper sticker says they like to do, whether they do it or not. And then you make them eat bugs.
