I think Logan actually needs to be cut some slack in this episode. I mean he comes back to find Rory in what appears to be some secret clandestine redezvous with her ex, which just happens to occur when he's out of town. I know it was innocent and not planned but he's got to be surprised and upset by finding Jess there.
Plus given Jess's reaction to Rory when she visits him in Philly a few episodes later, Logan's probably right to feel possessive. The last time Rory had seen Jess he asked her to move to NY with him, the next time after this he makes it clear that he would like to be with her and asks her why she hasn't she broken up with Logan which was part of his Rory-get-your-life-back-on-track-plan. It's clear that they've had a past and this epi is proof that Jess's opinions also hold a lot of weight with Rory.
Logan did act incredibly jealous and like a dick but can anyone say "hypocrite much?!" to Rory. Think back to the last episode of season 5 on the yacht. He's talking IN PUBLIC to an old friend and her husband and Rory's like "who's the blonde?" She's meeting an ex-boyfriend to go out to a private dinner Logan doesn't know about.   

Almost completely agree.  The only minor thing I would say is I wouldn't call it cutting him slack, but I think that's semantics and we're on the same page really.  I have no problem saying Logan acted like a jealous jerk and a fool.  I don't condone his actions at all.  But, I don't think that makes him a worse person or boyfriend, because someone in a similar situation would probably act the same or in an equivalent manner.  And, I didn't connect Rory's jealousy to the girl on the yacht, but good point.  I don't know if you can say someone has just cause for jealousy when the situation is innocent (I still stand by my assertion that there was nothing romantic intended between Rory and Jess in this episode) but if you could, Logan had much more reason to be jealous here than Rory had on the yacht.

in my thoughs this is an awesome episode. Jess come back to vist her and in 2 nights  well more one night help rory figure out that this anit here i mean who else could convince her in one little conversation  that anit here and she know it  like he said and Logan just let her become someone totally different, and Jess was the reason that Rory and Lorelai started talking again and rory went back to college in the next show.

I love this episode!! But it's soooooooo sad when Lorelai is sitting in Rory's room talking about how paul anka being ill and how it's her fault. And it's so obvious that she's actually talking about Rory. but luckily for her Jess comes along and sends Rory back to her!!

I think that Logan did have every right to be jealous but I don't think that it seemed like he was.

He seemed fairly possessive when he led her to his car on the way to the restaurant.
And I thought his convo with Jess at Poor Man's Shoe was a little passive-aggressive (Or is it Rich Man's? whatever). I thought his put down's like "Oh you penned the great American novel Jess?" were a poor attempt on his behalf at masking his jealousy.

And his parting (or near parting) shot at Rory - "Go be with Jess" or something like that.  I heard an unspoken, "You obviously would rather be with him than me."  That read as pure jealousy to me.

OMG!! I love this episode! I was so happy to see Jess again! I tell u they r ment 4 each other!!! I want them 2 b 2gether in the movie! that would b great!!

This is totally cool espiode and I think is so cool how Jess Points out to Rory that she had made a mistake but dropping out of school and also that Logan was a Jerk. I should never stand Logan and I really like Jess and he had changed because of Rory and you could really tell in this espiode.

It was really violent. They wer beatng up each other and the girls were really scary and Luke and Lorlelai were afraid of them.
