Cool, my Mom knits when she's stresed. I've tried like 18 times to learn how, but it just doesn't really, well, work

I'm still just getting the basic knit and purl stitches down but it's going pretty good so far. I haven't tried any serious patterns yet but I hope to get onto those soon! I just practicing - and that alone is comforting and a great stress reliever! How long have you been knitting, rorygilmoregirl93? That's aweomse that you knit too! I hope to keep learning more and one day, maybe be able to do something more than a scarf! (But hey, where I'm from, scarves are definitely good!)  Grin

Well hang in there! We'll get it eventually! Smiley It's so relaxing! And very rewarding to succeed at something! haha We will make it our goal to defeat the Purl stitch this coming year and move on to something more than a scarf! (Not that scarves aren't great!) I want to try a blanket of some sort, I LOVE blankets! But that will be awhile yet!

It's too bad that I like doing so many other things too. I can't keep focusing on one thing for too long, I need  to work on that!
Pretty stick for the knitters!

Oh god-no blankets.I made just a baby blanket for my niece before she was born (when Jessica was 6 months pregnant) and it took me till she was 4 months old to finish it!They take forever and get really boring!Warning!

Smiley we should make a club-knitters unite!!!
Pretty stick for you too!

Thanks for the warning! haha I wouldn't have thought of how boring they may get. Especially with my low attention span! I'll stick with scarves for a long while I'm thinking!

Yes, we should start a knitters club or some sort! That would be awesome!

Anyone else knit??

When I'm not watching GG? I spend my time thinking about GG...

Or I watch other stuff. I also spend a fair amount of time writing and programming and reading.

Let's see....I like to:
~Sing (by myself lol)...People say I'm good at it, but I don't like singing in front of people unless I'm with my friends.
~Go on hikes... I love the hill up my street. When you're at the top, and looking down, there's an area that's like empty, with only like 5 houses...no neighborhood....for a long ways.
~Hang out with friends.
~Take pictures/Get pictures taken of me... Good way to express yourself.
There's more, but that's all for now lol
your hobbies are same with me i aslo love sing and dancing what's your favourite song or singer i love Avril ,go on hilkes that's also a good choice to me when you climb to the top you feel you have  conquer the whole world i love that feeling very good
ps:where are you from i think we can go hiking together girl LOL
