Here's a thread (Mods feel free to delete or move  Grin, and sorry if it's in the wrong place, or a duplicate, I did search!), to talk about your hobbies! (Hobby's??)

What is it you do with your spare time? What keeps you happy??

It's great to talk to people with the same hobbies and likes as yourself, so here's a thread to get 'em all together!

I'll start if you like, my hobbies are: Dancing (ballet and tap), watching movies, acting, singing, reading, running, walking, eating (hehe) and writing.

How 'bout everyone else??

It's my new "thing." I know it will catch on like wildfire.

If I may shock you by being serious for a moment, I actually do have a few hobbies! I make jewelry, I draw, I design and make clothing, I'm currently learning Italian off of one of those computer programs, I pimp people's myspaces, I bake, and I'm really good at using those blunt-tipped scissors they give kids so they don't stab themselves in the eye by accident (that's a talent! those things are awkward!).

Rocking and rolling all night, and partying everyday?

I love this idea for a thread!  Okay, so I fill my time up with A LOT of clutter but it's all stuff I love.
To start with, I spend a majority of my time working.  I bring quite a bit of work home with me each day as well, so there's that.  But . . . I love having free time!  Here's what I usually do:
1.  Shop!  What can I say?  I love perusing stores.  The thing is, I don't just clothes shop (although that's fun, too).  I especially like buying things for my house.  Apparently, I'm a nester and I love decorating.  I have brand new furniture in my living room that is making me very happy right now!  Smiley

2.  Soccer.  I love to play soccer and have since I was little.  And, yes, Mia Hamm is my idol.

3.  Organizing.  Okay, I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) on this one.  I love sorting, labeling, filing things.  You should see my closet.  It's a sickness really.  Everything is grouped and labeled according to color.

4.  Scrapbooking.  My goal is to have my entire life story told by me via scrapbooks before I die.

5.  Reading - Reading has been my escape as long as I can remember.  If a book is really good, forget getting anything else done.

6.  Music - Music makes me happy.

7.  Cooking -- as if!   Grin  I'm so with Lorelai on that one.  I can cook, I'm good at cooking - I just find no joy from it.

Ha ha -- my friend is over and I just asked her what else I should put and she said "talking on the phone - for hours!"  It's true, I've killed many a cordless phone due to massive amounts of usage.  I'm a good phone multi-tasker as well.  Yesterday I was X-mas shopping online, eating a burrito, and chatting on the phone all at the same time.  Don't even get me started on my cell phone.  Not sure if I still know how to drive without it attached to my ear.  Cheesy  (Good thing that's not illegal here - yet).  Ah, yes, there are many more aspects to complicated me, but this is becoming long.

Yay - a lot of "manly" stuff to contradict all the girly stuff I just posted!  Cheesy

Thanks Smiley
A pretty stick for the creator!   Smiley  Helen scrapbooks?  Cool!  I spend way too much time and money on it.  Okay, this is morbid but -- I got the idea from my godmother's funeral.  Her friend threw together a scrapbook of her life in about two days to have out at her funeral.  It was very powerful.  I decided that I would like to do that for my life, but in much greater detail and told by me.

lol - the only bad thing is that I'm not really a "winter person", and I live way up in Northern Idaho where winter is coming up pretty quick here...  That takes a lot of my hiking oportunities away, but I do have snowshoes.

Let's see....I like to:
~Sing (by myself lol)...People say I'm good at it, but I don't like singing in front of people unless I'm with my friends.
~Go on hikes... I love the hill up my street. When you're at the top, and looking down, there's an area that's like empty, with only like 5 houses...no neighborhood....for a long ways.
~Hang out with friends.
~Take pictures/Get pictures taken of me... Good way to express yourself.
There's more, but that's all for now lol
