I really liked this episode. I liked how Chris was standing around with the other dads and he felt so insecure and then he bought all the creme brulee for the staff.
"If they want to be reporters, they need to learn to write drunk." Hehe!

Wrong episode. Came home as Mrs. Hayden in 7.07'French Twist' but get it. Didn't like that they got married in France either.

didn't care much for this episode, Coach Bennett scared me.
It just occured to me that Scott Patterson played "Agent Peter Strahm" in Saw IV and V.

Ok, this episode was a bit clunky from its opening and scenes where Lorelai talking to her parents at Parents weekend.
Still, I thought it was pretty good. I liked the fact Kirk tried to break up with Lulu but Luke managed to put some good advice onto him. I kinda liked Sookie dealing some guy's vegetables and such.
Yet, I think the episode is really about the relationships between father and daughter. On the one hand, we have Christopher trying to be the cool dad in front of Rory but ends up getting the Yale Daily News staff drunk and he feels bad. It was clear that with him and Rory, there's a bit of akwardness and I kinda feel sorry for him. He was just trying to be a good dad.
Then there's Luke and April, where the last scene they're in. It looks like they've got something very good going on. Luke having an awful date with that psycho coach. He looked uncomfortable and I think a bit of Lorelai has gotten him to eat things like pizza and sticky buns. It was good to see him and April enjoy all of that.
Ok, who's got better man-boobs? Luke or Christopher?
