Ohh that's okay.  Grin I hope I didn't come across as a mean B**ch. First of all, Welcome on board! I don't know if your a JJ (= fan of Luke and Lorelai) or not, but anyways on the cast board you can find threads about almost every character and some of the couples. In those thread you can talk about almost anything that about your favorite character (as long as it's spoiler-free). It's a great and fast way to talk to people who love the same things you do. Again welcome on board.

I was just trying to make those members who did talk about spoilers modify their posts. You're not causing trouble. And trust me we all have posted a spoiler in a non-spoiler thread at least once in our lifetime...as long as it's being modified and hopefully spree's don't read it everything's okay. I'm just trying to protect the spoiler-free's. I'm not a spree and would love to talk spoilers with you on the spoiler thread. But the mods are really busy re-erecting our GREAT forum (the only forum you can have an addult conversation on, I think) so to give them some slack I'm informing the newbie's.    Grin

Nope, you didn't come across as a B*tch at all, I completely understand, its difficult to find a forum that you can have an adult conversation without the "bashing" etc.  I just wanted to make sure I didn't get into trouble, I LOVE GG's and do not want be kicked off for not obeying the rules :-)

Hey, Gilmore fan one and all. Cheesy

Just a little nittypicky of a thought: would it be okay if we held off on a majority of the posting about an episode until after it airs? That would be just absolutely fabutasticly beautiful! The Spoiler board is chock full of things to read about this, and speculation. And if you're a spree and want to spree about future eps, well that's fun to be had as well. You don't have to steer clear of this thread, just we don't want to abuse it. Cheesy Yay episodes! Yay Gilmore Girls!

On that note, talk to you all after this episode (on this thread, anyway...)! Can't wait. Coffee

Do you think my hair looks cool? 'Cause, you know, some days I wake up and I'm like, cool. Some days I'm like, could be cooler. Like today I got up and I was like, left side cool, right side not so cool.

I personally, think that is a great idea. I thought that was how we did it on the old forum to prevent stuff from being leaked for those who didn't want it, that we didn't open the thread until after the episode aired. I may be wrong though, I don't quite remember. It personally doesn't bother me, as I love spoilers, but I feel badly for those who don't and come here and find a ton of them for this episode, so I think that not discussing the ep until after it aired will be a great solution.

O.k. one of you guys said that luke has a long lost daughter named april. How do you know that and where is your proof. I really hope that if thats true nothing willl get ruined with L/L. I just wish they would get married and be happy because they are so perfect!!! If anyone can show the information about lukes daughter send it to me i want to see. just hopefully luke and lorelai dont break off the engagement. Cry

You won't get an answer to that question on this board, cause things like that are spoilers and will only be allowed on the spoiler-board. Cause many of the members don't wanna know this. Please check out the spoiler-threads. The answer to that question is there and much more. I would love to answer your question, just not here. [/color]
people get this statement: please, no spoilers, thats what the spoiler board is for.
yet people continue doing this.
so please, on behalf of the board, NO SPOILERS!

GilmoreGirlNumber3- are you sure that Rory really does go to her mother for whatever they were fighting for and that Rory really does tell her mom she plans on going back to university (school)? And that Lorelai finally tells Luke they can set a date and Rory makes up with her mother? Cuz, if they do, that's totally cool! I am definitely watching GG, as usual, but r u sure about that??? Ill have to check the home page Shocked That's going to be the best yet and yah. the best since they had the fight anyway. can't wait to see Lorelai and Rory make up!!!  We'll have to see i guz, and i hope ur right GilmoreGirlNumber3

Hey Everyone!

Please notice that Beth started a "pre-episode" thread.  The point is to discuss information provided in the Promo.  So we should move our discussions to that thread.  Please remember that Spoilers always belong on the spoilers thread and nowhere else, including the new pre-episode thread.

You can find her thread here.

So we should leave this thread alone until tomorrow night.  See you then! Smiley

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! Shocked

Okay, okay, okay. I'm just a little overwhelmed right now. Talk about your full episodes. Between:
-the L/L fight
-the L/L makeup
-LUKE'S DAUGHTER
-Richard's freakout
-Emily's freakout
-Rory's new life
-the reconciliation

it almost makes my brain hurt. I had read about the fact that he had a kid, but I didn't really ever want to believe that it was true. It was a really good episode, but there's so much to iron out now. Just as Lorelai is really getting excited... how will she take Luke's news?

Okay. That was amazing. And that's the second time in two weeks that I've said that about this show, and that in itself is pretty amazing, as of late. (Though, that makes me sad.)

I called my best friend literally seconds after it ended and screamed into her voicemail.

I...I loved the reconcilliation. I love my Rory. She's so...ah, I love her. I loved that ending.

Luke and Chris stuff worries me, but not even that much, because...holyshitLorelaiandRory!

AH.

i'm so glad rory's back on the right path!  she's back at yahl plus she has a job..i love her scense of inicitave and she's herself again..no more DAR (she's like 40 years too young for that) lol.
i kinda felt bad for emily, though what lorelai said leaving the plain was so sweet...emily can be annoying but she's a person..she just has different tasts and personality and scense of right and wrong kinda...

Three great epi's in a row I can't believe it!  I hope it can last.

I am SO glad Rory actually DID something.  I was so worried it was just going to be "I'm talking to you again, let's pretend I'm not a slacker."  She made all the gestures I was hoping for.  Though I don't really get how she's back at Yale.  Returning for Spring semester I would get, but she sounded like she was going back right away.

I'm very glad she sent out resume's and had the guts to ask for a reference from the Stamford Gazette (considering that she didn't really know how buddy buddy that guy might be with Mitchum).  However I was very irked by her "persistance" behavior.  I understand how she might think she needs to be tenacious in order to succeed, and I understand how the writers might wanted to show yet another example of her rejuvenated backbone.  But as we were watching her get really annoying we were like "Uh, there goes her reference out the window."  I am also concerned that the only reason she went back there was because he praised her.  Again with the needing to be surrounded by those who praise her.  She might have been scared to go somewhere else when she didn't know how they would like her, but this seemed like a sure thing.  Just a thought.

I loved their phone conversation.  Rory's yeses were so cute!  "You're going back to Yale?" "Yes!" "And this is what you really want?" "Yes!"

I thought April was great.  She was almost like nerdy independent old rory.  I'm not sure what Luke's issue is.  I mean I get that it's shocking news, but I don't get why he was afraid to tell Lorelai.  (1) She has a kid too, so it's not like that's a major issue.  (2) It's not like he knew about it and abandoned her.  (3) It's not like April is trying to get him to be like a father to her.  She seemed pretty independent about it.

More thoughts to come of course!
