I loved it ... and I loved Max back then.

Yeah, me too. I felt really bad for Tristan at the end of the episode, though... I stopped liking Dean about halfway through season two.

I watch this episode over and over and I still get teary eyed. They were and are so perfect fro eachother and this was just the most perfect moment of all Rory and Deans perfect moments. Bring Back Dean!!!

Not trying to be picky, but there has to be way more that 1,000 dasies!

And, thus we find out why Max was an English teacher, not a math teacher

On tv.com's summary of the episode they addressed that inaccuracy:

There are clearly more than 1,000 daisies at the inn (even though Kirk says the order was for "no more, no less"). Each bunch has at least 30 or 40 in it, so there are probably 10's of thousands!

I loved this episode.  And although I am such L/L person, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Rachel.  I didn't like how she came between, but I still felt bad for her. 

Rory and Dean.  Hilarious.  I was cheering them on 100%, at least in this episode.  And when

The only thing that bugs me is how it takes like 3 more seasons for Lorelai and Luke to become "romantically involved."  I can't stand the waiting between seasons, when it is so obvious that they like each other.       

The dasies were so sweet.  I know there was more than 1000, but even so, it was so unbelivably romantic, what Max did for Lorelai. 

Great season finale.

I was totally sobbing and I don't like how Logan treats Rory. Honestly I'm a sucker for Dean! I just love the dasies! How he did what she wanted and just loved her that much!

wow this was by far my favorite episode in session 1.
it was cutee when rory says "you have a rory box"
aww and when rory said "I love you, you idiot"
was amazzzing. ahhaa did you see the look on Tristians
face when he saw rory&dean kissing i was like "IN YOUR FACE
TRISTIAN" lol nah but it was kinda sad to see Tristian sad over
the fact that Rory&Dean are getting back together and that
they werent gonna go to the concert together.

About 10-15 minutes into the episode, Rory finds her "Dean Box" in Lorelai's closet. Rory then takes the box into her bedroom and begins going through the items that are in it--stuffed animal, box of corn starch, etc.

It is at this point that a song begins to play in the background. It goes something like:  (acoustic guitar in background) La, la, la la la laaaah,  la, laaaaaah, laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, la la la, laaaaaaaah.

OK I know that probably doesn't help but it appears elsewhere throughout the series, seemingly always at very sentimental moments. I presume it is by Sam Phillips but for the life of me cannot find out what the name of this song is.

I dont know what the name of the song is but i could figure it out tonight, but it may either be sam phillips or her husband... he plays the troubador.

And how sweet was it that Max proposed to Lorelai like that??  a thousand yellow daisies... so amazing

freudianslip, The song is called "How to Dream" by Sam Phillips.  I have it on my iTunes    Max was okay for a while, but I think Luke and Lorelai should be together.  However, the 1,000 yellow daisies was so romantic.

OMG this is one of my favorite episodes of GG! I love the opening teaser with Luke waking up Lorelai by fixing a railing Lorelai: "Luke, we like sleep around here. It makes us pretty and keeps us from killing our crazy friends!" and everyone thinks she dreamt it up 

Then later when it's revealed that Luke has been running away from Rachel to Lorelai's house and Lorelai catches him breaking into her house! Lorelai: "Oh my God... you have crossed over to the dark side Luke,"  And the conversation at the table was sweet.

 Oh and Max's first town meeting including bringing Ring Pops which of course I love those things. Of course the town meeting was hilarious and ooh did you catch some jealous looks from Max when Lorelai was talking to Luke at the meeting then he pulled her into a defensive hug? Uh uh bad sign.

Then Rachael leaves Luke with some very good advice and he went to tell Lorelai forgetting she is dating someone which of course led to some grunts of dominance (sp?) there. I hated it how Max was quick to believe that Lorelai was involved with Luke and was lying to him or something. I liked how Lorelai defended herself and how she was ready to split up with him because she didn't want to be stuck in a place with someone like that. Max was too quick to propose and that was sort of insulting. The 1,000 yellow daisies and his speech on the phone was romantic but it left Lorelai in a rut. How the heck was she supposed to say no after that display and with the entire town basically pushing her to? Another reason why I'm glad for Season 2

yay! I really love this episode, especially the "i love you, you idiot" because i am also a major fan of dean 
Kirk was also hilarious as the delivery man. It was just another great episode of gg.
