There also is a thread about Sookie on the cast board. If you post on that thread more people who also love her will read your post, cause the ORG is kinda orinized that way. Every character has his/her own thread. That way you get to talk to people who love the same character much faster and easier and it won't cluder up the board when the mods close your thread.

LORELAI: Oh, don’t be embarrassed Snuffy, I’m just teasing. It’d be a Mets cap. LUKE: Could you possibly leave me and little missus alone for just a minute? Luke: Got a handful of Barbie.

I love the character of Sookie! She's absolutely beautiful, funny and teriffic! When I cook, I try to imagine what Sookie would do - lol. If ever there was a chance to play a character on GG's, I would love to be a long lost best-friend to Loralei and Sookie Betty

I love Sookie, too! She just lights up every scene she's in, IMO. I was watching some of season one over the weekend, and in the extras there's a clip of the pilot with Alex Borstein (who used to play Drella). It was so weird seeing someone else as Sookie, and it just wasn't the same. I love Melissa McCarthy, and I second whomever said that it's great to see a full-figured woman as a regular character on a popular show. She's fabulous!

All I've got to say is Alex Borstein ain't got nothing on Melissa McCarthy.

I think everyone wants to have a friend like Sookie. She is supportive, funny, really likable, and has been a great character on the show from the start.

Somewhere I heard that Melissa and Jenny McCarthy are cousins. I'm not sure where, I'll let you know if I remember.

They need to give her more screen time, as they also need to do with Lane, Paris and Michel. Maybe they should drop Logan and give those four all his screentime.
That... would work.

I wish the general public could vote for who gets an Emmy because Melissa McCarthy would get my vote. She's so incredibly talented. GG isn't successful purely because of Lauren & Alexis (although you couldn't have the show obviously without them) but it's definitely an ensemble and I wish the supporting characters were shown more. The only supporting character I think that gets the screentime she deserves is Kelly Bishop and she definitely proves that she can make a scene that much better. I agree btw, Krisleigh, I wouldn't shed ...well.. ANY tears should Logan disappear.
