Well, after re -watching episode one several times, I think there's more to it than at first seen, and it's not half bad, infact, it's pretty good...I haven't watched the 2nd ones as much yet, so I need to see it again  a few more times and see how I feel about it, and what's actually in it...as of right now, I likes the 1st one better.
I've got a love/hate relationship with Luke right now

Lane and the timing of her pregnancy.

Is it just me or do the dates not add up?

They obviously had "relations" on their honeymoon which was a week ago? So she would be one week pregnant, geez image how bad the rest of her pregnancy is going to get if she is suffering morning sickness at 1 week.

 Huh

For some reason I kind of don't mind Luke and Lorelai not being together, it's weird because somedays I like Chris more than Luke and others I'll like Luke better. So far I like David Rosenthal, though! The raquetball was great!

The racquetball was very GG Cheesy I really liked it. Quite a good episode, I think I'll be able to say more when I've seen more though (episodes, that is) I've only seen two, haven't quite got the swing of things yet.

I'm in Australia and I only just watched the first and second episodes of the new season. (I love the Internet, let me tell you!) I didn't want to read the board before I watched the episode and I'm afraid I don't have time to read through all 31(!!!) pages of replies but I feel like I have to post my reaction even if possibly other people have made the same points because you are the only people who are out there whom I can share my thoughts with! Hope you forgive me if I'm repeating stuff.

* If Lorelei sincerely loves Luke, wouldn't you think she'd have gone to see how bad the damage was after the car crash and offer sympathy even if they'd broken up? I know she would probably feel guilty about having slept with Chris but still, she knows the diner is his whole life. Seems to me that if I really loved someone and this happened to him, I'd want to be there for him even if I had broken up with him.

* I don't think it's fair to blame Chris for thinking that Lorelei sleeping with him means that it's appropriate for him to invite her over for dinner and possibly have a relationship now that she's broken up with Luke. He didn't come to Lorelei, she came to him!

* As for Rory being unsure whether Logan still loved her, getting a phone call from him the minute he landed at Heathrow seems to me to be a pretty good clue!

All in all, this was a better episode than I expected. The banter was a little more forced, perhaps, but it still felt like the Gilmore Girls.

I'm totally torn on how I feel! I mean I always wanted Chris and Lor to be together, but Luke and Lor are awesome too. Undecided

As for Lane and the morning sickness, you can start getting sick a couple days after conception so not too weird (science lesson for the day.)

Later Folks!

I have been wanting to log on somewhere and yell my head off instead of yelling to my friend. What has happened this season? I am so so disappointed!  Angry I love Gilmore Girls but this season is junk. I don't know if it is the new writer(which I do have to say, you can see changes) but what is really going on? First of all, long, drawn out scenes that sometimes make no sense. Two, where did all the funny lines go? I mean in last weeks epi they quoted things about Gwenyth Paltrow so many times, but thats so simple. I loved when they quoted things I had no idea about. Three and it is a big three, the three that has caused me to stop watching for a minute,is Lorelai and Ch(I don't even want to type this) ris getting back together. Why? Are you kidding me? Here we go. I am so upset. I just watched the ABC family rerun of when Lor found the perfect dress and then all the other plans came together. Man, what happened? All I know is if this is to be the last season(bite my tongue) it better end with Lor and Luke together, but in the way it did on Friends with Rachel and Ross. It needs to end with them going to Reno and getting married by Elvis or something else totally random. Someone needs to save us...Amy!! Sorry everyone I am just venting my anger and sadness. Cry

Seems to me that if I really loved someone and this happened to him, I'd want to be there for him even if I had broken up with him.

I know!  It is so unlike her to not care.  She didn't stop loving him since the previous night.  I don't remember the scene where they broke up verbatim, but if I do remember correctly, he told her the diner was wrecked in the middle of his "I love you, let's elope now" speech.  I would have expected Lorelai to stop him right there and before they went any further, ask him a million questions about it.  I don't even think she's mentioned it to date.

I don't think it's fair to blame Chris for thinking that Lorelei sleeping with him means that it's appropriate for him to invite her over for dinner and possibly have a relationship now that she's broken up with Luke. He didn't come to Lorelei, she came to him!

Not only that, but considering the history Lorelai and Chris have, why wouldn't her going to him (knowing he's always stuck on her) and having an intimate encounter with him definitely mean something to him?  They had sex on the balcony and the next day, he proposed to her.  Then, they had sex on Sookie's wedding eve, and before they were even dressed, they were invested in a relationship.  There was never a time - until now -  that Lorelai and Chris had meaningless relations.  And if she ever did mean it to be meaningless, she saw the consequences (when Chris wanted to marry her).  She had to be fully aware of the effect this was going to have on Chris.  On the same note, it's actually really, really, really extra messed up of her to have done that.  She played him BAD.  But then again, should Chris have expected that Lorelai was in her right mind, coming to sleep with him mere moments after ditching her finacee?  By the way the situation unfolded, should he have expected her to fully commit to him?  I don't know.

Also, I know everyone is different, but I could not possibly be turned on enough to have intimate affairs at a time when my almost 2 year - old relationship (and engagement, no less!!!)  had just crumbled at my feet.

bri: In the top page of the org, that is, www.gilmoregirls.org, there is a link to pictures from the show uploaded by the mods and contributors. They're under 'Images and Photos'.

*modified - oops, wrong episode.

I think Lor was desperate and needed to feel that someone loves her. Her fiancee has just refused to marry her! And not only that, but he hiding the fact that he has a daughter... for what, 2 months? And their wedding was postponed... she started to feel it was not postponed but canceled... and needed some positive feedback.
