I'm all about Babbette! Who can resist someone named Babbette!  I love how she calls everyone sugar and doll. My favourite Babbette moment was the test run night of the Dragonfly when Luke apparently saw her half naked and was all embarassed about it. Luke was totally mortified but Babbette had no qualms about the incident at all! I have to say that I do enjoy Miss Patty's many offhanded remarks about her various husbands however. My favourite Miss Patty episode was in season 1 when Christopher came to town. Rory was showing her dad around Stars Hollow and they ran into Miss Patty. Obviously smitten with his looks, Miss Patty told him that the whole town loved Rory and all took care of her and so that was sort of like them being a couple, and she said "A coupla what's I don't know" and she laughed! Then as Rory and Christopher walked away she got on her cell phone to let the rest of the town know about his arrival. |

I think its a tie, I love them both. Although I love Sally because of All in the Family, Im kind of like Archie Bunker in a way.

I think Babette is just so cute, and she is one of the gossip queens. Also, she lives right next to Lorelai so she is a more signifacant member on the show in my view.

This is a tough one for me. I love them both, but Babbette has definetly got more spunk than Miss Patty. She's hilarious !!! Babbette's the winner of this one for me. |

I love when Dean first goes to R & L's house for the movie night, and Babette corners him outside, and Lorelai has to save him. And says "We'd believe you if you said you were there for 30 mins"
I also love her comment about the computer when they were managing it after the Inn had a fire - "It's crazy like it's on acid or something"
Babette's definatly more of a chacracter.
Although, I read that the actress who plays Miss Patty, has done all of those shows etc that she brags about. Interesting stuff!

Babbette all the way! Miss Patty is kinda scary in a funny way. I wish that you would see Babbette more often though because she is soo sweet! Babbette really cares for Lorelai and Rory.  Her and Mory are a match made in heaven!  |
