Emoticon thread

In this thread you can post all the emoticons you love, use a lot…or just want to show someone. This can also be the place to find great emoticons to use yourself if you don’t have emoticons yet and have no idea where to get them from.

Here are some of mine that I’ve used most often:

Always handy at the FSC-thread:

I’ve never/hardly used these ones before, but I love them.
– very ‘eye of the tiger’
– LMAO!
  - Luke

I know some people don’t like emoticon use, but I feel it captures your emotions so much better then words. You can even get your point across much better and point out that your being sarcastic or something. That’s why I love using them. Cause without them people misunderstand you a whole lot sooner.

And this last one is kinda perfect cause we just got hacked so….

I used to get mine at smileycentral.com, but it doesn't look like you can use them unless you download a program now.  I saved some to my hard drive from there, but I don't know if I want to install software on my PC just to have access to them.  Roll Eyes

I agree that's so weird, it's hard enough to open your own photobucket when you want to use an emoticon.

I just learnt what these things ment today;
>: (    Angry
: (      Sad
: )      Smiley
; )      Wink

I never knew what the hell they ment before Cheesy
Not that they are emoticons/ smileys but they are ok on boards that don't support the others Grin

I never got why they just don't use the emoticons instead of typing : ( and stuff.

I said "often" but it is only if i'm on a board that have them as i don't have any on my PC. They all need to downloard programs to work, and though my security program catch everything i still feel safe internet protocols need to be imployed when... I wrote some more on this but i don't feel like making an angry tekst today (half a page delited Roll Eyes a waste of time Tongue). Safe to say i use emoticons where they are.

I don't really use emoticons, however they are fun to look at most of the time. Most of my emoticons come from when I type something such as ": )".

I also choose 'Depends on my mood' but lately it's been kinda 'often'. Shitty spoilers so I guess I'm trying to keep the mood up....emoticons are great that way.

So when I feel like.... I just post happy stuff.

These onces are sweet as well......very LL.

These onces are also funny:

How/Where do I save emoticons on my computer so that I can use them in email, on message boards, etc.  I am not sure how to capture them and save them...especially the moving ones.

I know how to use them here, but, how can I use them else where?  Thanks.

Right-click on the emoticon you want and click 'Save', 'Save as' or 'Save Image as'. Save it and then upload it to the net (Photobucket and ImageShack are awesome) Copy and paste the code they give you with the [img] tags into the text area (unless you'r somewhere that allows HTML, then use the <img src> code.)
