Well, this thread started out as me trying to persuade people to restart old topics because I didn't want to, but now I suppose it's become a sounding board for new ideas.

So, if you want to start a thread, but you need help or you're not sure if you should, ask here!  You don't have to post on this board before you start it, though I think that's a good idea.

I've just re-opened the PLT, Noddies and Gilmore-Danes baby threads.
Hi maybe people have some idea's for new thread and would like to know what people think about them...should they post their idea's here first (might be a good idea)?!

How about a.... 'What are they talking about?' thread: you know for those weird ASP quotes ya just can't figure out. And which will bugg the crap out of you all week long. Or to see which purson's, movies etc ASP has quoted over the years...might be educational/fun.

I think that's a really good idea.  A lot people don't have the DVD sets, so they must live without the handy little Gilmore-isms booklets, and it really is a hassle to try and look it up on the internet.  And IF, somehow, you do find it, a lot of times it's hard to understand exactly why the quote was used in the first place.  This way, it could be person-to-person, in simplest terms.

This might sound kind of crazy, but how about a Paul Anka the dog appreciation thread? He's been getting a significant amount of character time, and from what I can tell from a lot of viewers, the way this season is going, he might be one of the faves of the season. I don't know, it's just a suggestion, I won't be hurt or anything if people think it's crazy.

I like that idea, personally.  I know some people think that he needs to go, but I like him...and we wouldn't have to go through all that crap with the caches.
