I think that sounds like a good plan. I mean, as long as he's gone, and has been banned, then for the moment we dont have to worry about him. I have already blocked things from him and another user, who posted inappropriote things. I would also like to advise everyone to do the same.

I do think we should have another mod hired though, someone in the far-Eastern side of the world, such as Australia. While I do appreciate that the posts were removed in good time, I think we can do better. Summer lives in North America, White Onyx in Europe, and I'm not too sure where Heidi lives, but I think there is a time gap which would be well covered by someone in Australia.

I think Heidi is also from the states, but in a different time zone. Yeah Summer is from the states as well and I'm Dutch so European. When adding mods, Heidi doesn't choose them because of their time zones, but cause they have been online for years, know the rules and are patient with members and don't WRitE LiKE ThiS etc. If Heidi feels the need to add another mod (which is unlikely cause she wants to limit the amount of account a hacker can use to rack this forum) it will be a pure coincidence from which continent he/she will be from. He/she has to be a good mod, not a geologically suitable one.

Yes... Heidi is from California. In all reality, though, even if Heidi hired a mod from Australia (which should be pretty useless as Heidi and I are both insomniacs, so there's never more than a few hours that someone isn't around for- I go to bed at 2 AM usually and get up at 5 for practice) there wouldn't be a hell of a lot the mod could do. While we can edit and delete and move posts and that sort of thing, we can't delete PMs from other people's accounts, and that was the main mode of attack in this situation.

I have given this alot of thought and notice everyday when I log in there is some new idiot, that just signed up, spamming porn or drugs or whatever, wouldnt not letting new members make posts until they have been registered say, a week, or have read 100 or so posts deter these morons?
It would also prevent alot of people posting inappropiately and in the wrong forum, because they would have a chance to look around a bit, dunno just an idea
