Yeah i remember that Mitchem scene - watched it a lot - where Rory says his writing is so neutral. That is a good writer!  I also loved Logan. Here he was just this anncilary character and he turned out for me to be one of the best characters - in how he developed and grew, what he stood for - so many things. I would LOVE - LOVE to see a show about Logan.

I wonder if he will emerge in another show? Anyone know? He's just too cute, he has to be on some other show. They could just spin off his character and he could be in California and such. And then in the third season, he runs into Rory again! And they start dating again!

Ok, i did fall on my head earlier.  Tongue

Ok, i erased my other post talking about Democrats being seen as 'non-God' people and Republicans as the "moral majority' - i figured it was too much for this forum. Low and behold, on Good Morning America they are right now doing a story about the "God gap" for Democrats! Well, i guess i was not only timely, but not so racey after all!

Interesting.  This is about perception of course, but i guess i did not think i would see a national story on this...  hmm.

Lorelai: Please Luke, please please please.
Luke: How many cups have you had this morning?
Lorelai: None.
Luke: Plus--
Lorelai: Five.  But yours is better.

Drink  Cheers Zeddie, I feel the same way about Logan.  What is it with us older women? Huh  I wonder if he knows we have a fan club for him!?  I also think he was a Republican for sure.  I think his dad was too.  I think Paris thinks she is a democrat but is really an elephant!  I think Kirk still doesn't know that you vote for anyone but Taylor, LOL Kiss

Mitchum Huntzberger would contribute $$$ to both parties to keep all his bases covered. He's an opportunist, no convictions. He's a journalist but too rich & full of himself to care about perception. I think when Logan gets a little older he will become exactly like his father. I cannot back up this claim, except to say that i do not like or trust Logan.

Lane would be a left wing Democrat as a natural rebellion against her mother. Zach would go along with Lane because she rules the roost. And, Zach is a bit... dim.

Kirk would go along with Lulu, for fear of losing her (and he has good reason to fear losing that cutie). I doubt Lulu's concerns would get more worldly than a new paint job for the gazebo.

Emily is a member of the DAR, an ultra-conservative organization. That Rory temporarily joined this organization in season 6 can only be explained as part of her short-lived transformation into Emily Junior.

Now that Chris is rolling in money, he would probably be a Republican because of the perception that they would lower his tax rate (key word: perception). In earlier days, he might have been a Democrat as a rebellion against his father. When Lorelai attacked Bush to rankle Chris' father, Chris seemed slightly uncomfortable but also seemed to get a kick out of it. Actually, i think he just wanted to make hoochie-coochie with Lorelai on the balcony. That's what is known as "personal politics".

Babette hangs with a jazz musician and that sounds Dem to me. Miss Patty, with her free-swinging past, seems like a ring-a-ding Democrat. Taylor is either a communist or a fascist or a libertarian, i can't decide.

Sookie might be the most typically American of all the characters: indifferent to politics, except when it might directly affect her family. Jackson was not interested in politics; he simply wanted to oust Taylor.

Yes Logan is on Friday night lights now.  Don't know his real name.  A totally different character.  He is such a good actor! Tully
