Lol, Milky Tea! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! and I am a true SA man drinking cold beer, if I drink beer at all! Not massively keen on that front!

The family doesn't often do a sit down dinner together, but tea times are sacred! So yeah, tea and cucumber sandwich's. LOL. Just joking about the sandwich's.

Actually (big shock) but when I drink tea I don't have it milky and usually use soya milk, and when I have beer I prefer it ice cold. What can I say, too many american friends...

We don't really do sit down dinners except the sunday roast which is most weeks.

What do you mean, the entire UK stops for cucumber sandwiches with the crusts off at precisely 4pm whilst wearing crinoline dresses... lol

Seriously, if anyone has any Brit culture questions you want to ask feel free to. I promise to be honest and not get offended. No question is a stupid question after all!

Ahh umm *thinks back to Road Code learning days*, I dont think there's a restriction to have cars on the road, but I know if a car is ove r a certain age (1990, maybe?) you need to get a warrent every 6 months, instead of every year.
Yeah, London's pretty intense England's quite cool from what I remember, but then it's been like 8 years since I went back last. And apparently it's really gone downhill since. But tht could just been the people I know over there.
Although I have to admit, along with the tea sterotype. When I was there every single persons' house I went to, they offered me tea. And these were 12 year olds!!! I've pretty much lost my accent. Although it's still there with some words, and some vowels. My Mom still does though.

I've heard SA is really cool, actually. I can't say I've heard anything bad at all, recently.

Welcome back Frenchie and gilmoreren!

Interesting views. I'm a londoner who moved away in 1996, from what I hear it's really on the up and improving all the time... I went back last week and loved it especially Portobello Road.

Tea is pretty ubiquitous here, everyone seems to at least make it if they don't drink it! I still have most of my london accent. Sort it aaatt!!

Ahh, well I'm not from London Smiley Maybe it's just going to hell where I'm from!!!
Irish accents are funny, all my family on my Moms side have them. I went over there in 2004 and everyone was oohing over me in Irish accents, hee, it was funny. And my third cousin was over here a little while ago, to visit my Mom.
