I only get the two Italian Swiss, 1 French Swiss and 1 German Swiss - I discovered Gilmore Girls through a friend who has the DVD's (except Season 6, I just bought and watched all within a few days). Just wondering if it's on cable.

If anyone's out there, are you able to watch it in English. If not, how is it in translation?

It would be pretty strange to me if I wasn't "supposed to" open a Swiss thread, especially since i was interested in people from all over Switzerland, not just the German language part.

As I live in the Italian part, naturally I've already read some of the Italy thread. But I'm still interested in hearing from anyone in Switzerland who watches it, no matter what language region they're in. I already realize that they're not getting GG through a Swiss channel, but from Italy, France or Germany. I wanted to find out what people think of the various languages as compared to the English.

So, since you've watched in both German and English, I'd like to know what you think of the German version in comparison (I've lived in the German part and speak German - but I'm not German mother tongue so all the references to American popular culture, that I don't even know myself as an American, make me wonder what they do with those in German).

Thanks, I'd really like to know what you think.

No problem! I just had a question, but I guess it's sort of for the Swiss German viewers. See, VOX (a German TV channel) is showing Gilmore Girls and I saw last Tuesday that it's the 5th season. When does the 6th come on?

Oh yeah! I've checked it out on the Ex Libris website (I don't know if you've heard of it) and it seems that there are two parts of the 6th season. Both parts are more expensive than the regular boxes! What a boongla.

Thanks a lot anyway.  Smiley
