Oh wow, thats great! An internship is a great thing, I mean, it gives you plenty of time to focus on your studies and like you said, a foot in the door. You probably wouldnt want more than that just now or you would have too much on your plate. I have taken on too many tasks at work and I am feeling a little overloaded, will have to do something about it if it gets any busier, I mean, I am struggling to find time to visit the org
Take care

Good Morning!
I had to get up really early this morning because as I was going to sleep last night I realised I forgot to set up some tables for a function this morning and that they had to be ready to go by 8am so Ive done my stuff now and its 8.30am and I have been up for a few hours with no coffee to kick start me but I feel kind of wired anyway.
Last night I was watching GG (Season 4, tick tick boom, afterboom and luke can see her face) and then I was just fiddling around with the remote and they started speaking in Belgian or something, lol. It was very funny and it kept me amused for ages.
Dont stress too much about working too much, just make sure at the end of the day you dont go to bed stressed so that you get a good nights sleep. Sleep is very important!
So has anyone answered your poll yet Mr Troubador? I know that Caz has bought a shirt but I think you asked about guys and shes not a guy
A while back I tried to get them to make the new shirt one that the guys could wear, I suggested it should say 'chicks dig Gilmore Guys' but they didnt go for it
would you have worn a 'chicks dig Gilmore Guys' shirt? I would have, I would have bought lots of them! Hehe.
Anyway, I should do some work so that I am not stuck here forever. Have a good day/night/whatever it is when you read this and dont do anything I wouldnt do

Morning. Youre spot on. Its sunday lunch now actually. Quite funny, you're going to bed, just when I'm waking up to the day you just had
lol
I just this morning watched GG Season 4E11 and E12. I love E12, its brilliant, one of those emotional episodes that make you really connect with everyone. Hmm, so Jess comes back it'll be interesting to see if he stays or what goes down. I can't beleive mrs. Kim, just throwing Lane out like that
I'm so glad I'm not the only person who thinks that sleep is important. Everyone else at college seems to think that waking up at like 2pm and going to bed at 4:30am is they way to live. I dunno, when its sunlight outside I'm awake. I like to get the whole 8hrs sleep if I can.
I would have worn a 'chicks dig Glimore Guys shirt' lol. I noticed that on your sig and had to laugh!
lol I have ordered one of the new coffee shirts, they have a Unisex version so lets hope thats cool.
I must go do some college work, chat to you later

Hey Mr Intern! So how was it? Tell me everything! Did they have good coffee for free? Do you have your own desk? Is it an inspirational setting?
You are an 8 hour sleep guy? I am such an 8 hour sleep girl that I freak out at the thought of not getting 8 hours, lol. Its one of my few neurotic habits. You'll have to let me know how the t-shirt looks because I am still undecided on whether or not to get one
Well I woke up this morning and decided I wanted to paint my bedroom so I am off to find some paint.
Take care

Here's the girl who bugged me about joining the German Thread convo and now she's here in the SA thread. At first I thought it was a Southern Austrailia thread for a minute. Lol!
But I understand ya, there aren't anoyone here from SA. I work with kids from Africa, does that count?

Lol, careful QweenB, MasBYUgal is watching U!
MasBYUgal, anytime you wanna drop by is cool, its an open thread.
Being the only SA guy around is a tad lonely! lol
Anyway, the first day was awesome. I got there and got shown around (where to find the full on pro coffee machine
) introduced to everybody and shown where I was gonna work. Pretty much all the food is free, lunch is included. I've got my own work area, so its a chilled atmosphere with us all together. Its so cool! So ya, good times
How'd the that function go that you had to get up early for?
Howz the room painting going? What colour you go for? Sounds fun, but also sounds like some hard work, if youre anything like me with my room filled with loads of stuff.
Well, chat to you later

Byder! Did I just read your last post correctly, you're an animator??
I'm glad I'm welcome, B's a pal of mine -- so we tease eachother back and forth. IT's all good.

Hey Mel xxx Was wondering how long it would be until someone found me in here, lol.
Chris this job really sounds fantastic! Im glad the first impression is a good one
I am painting my room light pink with a pink and white striped feature wall. So far I have done two basecoats on the biggest wall, it will take me a few weeks to get it finished.
Yesterday a friend and I caught up and decided to go to Europe in July. We have it fairly planned out already and I opened up a new savings account today, we are so excited
I cant wait!!!!
I guess I will see you both in the Aussie thread!

Hey, wow. Feels like a real long time ago that I last posted. Ya, the room and the trip to Europe sounds awesome. I must plan to do some travelling next year, and get around abit. Its so wierd, he in SA we are getting so many big bands coming. On thursday night I went to see Jamie Cullum (who is so totally awesome) Then Live is coming here after they've finished in Aus
and then Nickelback. Its so bizzare how many of them are coming here suddenly.
Yeah, party party here in SA for the next few months

You like Jamie??? I love Jamie Cullum! I saw him live about 18 months ago and he was fantastic, if he comes back here I will definitely see him again. Noone else I know like or even knows who he is (which is kind of good because then you get smaller concerts - he walked out into the crowd when I saw him, was great) I like Live and Nickelback too and I think Nickelback were at a festival I went to years ago but I cant remember.
I dont go to concerts much anymore because its just too hard having to drive nearly 2 hours to get there and then 2 hours home and by the time I get to bed its crazy late and I usually have to work the next day. Speaking of work, I have to run to a meeting.
Talk to you later

Lol, I know! A lot of people I know have never heard of him! Their loss I'm afraid! He also came walking down into the crowd! (Lol, its so silly but still. I shook his hand!)
Can't wait for Live I've seen them once before and I promised myslef I would see them again! They ROCK! Luckily the concerts here happen like 20mins from my house, so travelling is not a problem. Jamie was at a smaller venue, and a little futher away, but it was well worth it!
Cool, I must run

You shook his hand!! That is awesome! He waled right past us but he looked a bit scared so we didnt touch him, lol. I did however get to shake hands with someone who is at the top of my shake hands with list and that is Jay Kay from Jamiroquai
Hows the job going hun? Is it still everything you dreamed it would be? I hope it is that and more! So I dont know if you get shows like American Idol on tv over there but a new season of Australian Idol just started and we have two SA born guys in the top 24 and they both have beautiful voices (and one of them has eyes I could drown in!) and I hate to stereotype because its a stupid thing to do but considering I like music anyway I thought I would ask if you can sing or play an instrument or dance - basically anything relating to music
I cant sing, cant play an instrument (I have no hand-eye coordination) but I consider myself an ok dirty dancer, lol.
Back to the animation talk...have you ever animated yourself or turned yourself into a cartoon? If so, let me see!!! Hehe.
Cheers

Now I'm totally jealous! You shook hands with Jay Kay. Now thats awesome! Jamiroquai ROCKS! Jay Kay is probably the most energetic person on stage I have ever seen.
We have SatTV which gets all of the american and europe MTV stuffs, but you have to pay for it. So not many people have it. Other than that we have 4free channels which are pretty useless. LOL! So i have never seen American Idols or anything. I know all about it coz they tried something similar here. SA has some pretty decent tallent floating around, its just finding it thats hard.
Hmmm, I can play something. Sort of
Ok I can't sing, but I did learn to play the trumpet some years back until my interests changed. I'm dead keen to learn to play the accoustic guitar (play jazzy stuff like Jamie)
Unfortunately I have never animated myself. Alot of my characters seem to come out with similar body proportions, but obviously never look anything like me.
I've been trying to find somewhere to upload my 90odd meg showreel so I can post it on other forums. When that happens I'll send you a link
