1.10 - Forgiveness and Stuff

I love how it shows how much Loreai cares for her dad and she was so worried about what happens to her dad and if her mom/dad died i think she would cry and be upset.  I thought it was nice of Luke to take lorelai to the hospital.

i loved the santa burger!!!! and it was funny how lorelai got the nurse to go away by threatening to have her stay and talk to her mother. i felt kind of sorry for luke when emily asked if she was on a date and lorelai said "Uhh... no mom. it's Luke." And
he said "that's her way of saying it wasn't a date." the scene between lorelai and richard was sweet. you could tell he loved her by the way he looked at her and almost said something. i think everything was said without words anyway.

Santa Burger, Santa Burger, Santa Burger! Ha, I love it!

Luke is so sweet to just close his business and drop what he is doing and take Lorelai to the hospital. (despite his hospital-phobia!)  I love how suprised Emily was to see Lorelai, like she wasnt going to be there or something.  See, Richard and Emily, she is a good daughter!  I love Rory say "I dont want him to...I was just getting to know him."  Very touching.

HAHA i LOVED the santa burger. Luke was sooo kind 2 drop his work and take Lorelai 2 the hospital. Haha i love the u always look good & it looks good on u...looks good how? convos emily was also funny calling Luke and idiot and Lorelai was like u must have sucked up good. haha

Ahh, the entrance of the hat!!! Shame he took it off for the ugly one in 7x03.

One of my favourite gilmore girls episode, a really good one for the development of the show too. top notch

     I know. I lv this episode. My favorite one from season one. lv the santabuger and the end when Lorelai gives Luke the hat.  i just really hate that luke took the hat off this season. the new hat doesn't look right.

Watched this epi again today.  This is defiintely one of my favorites.  It has all the tones and themes that make this show wonderful.  NO soap operay nonsense, just good family dysfunction and heartful sentiment. 
Get these characters back on screen together!!

I loved how Emili argued in the hospital and Lorelai came and went straight trough the door. And the Santa Burger was so sweet. Luke is really a good friend. It is so sad that they separated. The words of Emily "You are fools." could aplly to the present situation too.
And It is really an awful hat the new one.

They showed this ep. on the W network today, on the same day that the new ep. about Richard having a heart attack.  It was nice to see the differences between the 2 different times he'd been in the hospital and how everyone else reacts to it. 

I do love this ep. too. I like this one better than the new one.  Maybe its cuz Chris is not in it. hehe

Loved Luke's respond when Rory asked what he was doing sitting there.  He is such a wuss.  Hospital patients really freaks him out.
Rory: What are you doing?
Luke: staring at my boots...

i could not agree with you more! this episode is still one of my favorites. it's definitely my favorite season 1 episode. funny, with a little bit of drama, which is what i prefer. eps like "paris is burning" and "the breakup part 2" were a little too "stuffy", i guess, but this had a good balance! I can't believe how much "I'd rather be in philidelphia" is similiar!

This has got to be one of the best episodes! Luke was so sweet and he made her a Santa Burger and it was also the episode where the famous blue hat appears! One of my favorites!
