Heh! I also remember watching this all those years ago Heidi and loving it as much then as I do now. The truck scenes driving to the hospital and all of Luke and Lorelai's moments in the hospital are wonderful and show the great chemistry that these two have together.

Heh! Well I think we should all get together and have ourselves a "Luke and Lorelai should have gotten married" pity party. I'm sure more people will join us!

You're bound to raise critics among the "Luke and Lorelai should live in sin" party. X D I remember all the moaning and groaning about how "they're not really going to get married now are they?"

For somebody who is mostly a non-traditionalist, I have to say I wanted the whole wedding. When I get invest in a ship on a show, I like to see the full happy ending with the wedding and all!! But having them living together with JamHands on the way would have made a nice scenario also I guess.

I agree with Michelle's statement "as long as they're happy together". Marriage doesn't work for everyone. But for L&L, i honestly think they would go for it and get married. They both wanted marriage during the course of their relationship, but unfortunately not at the same time. After seven seasons of mayhem, i can imagine the stars aligning long enough for them to give it a whirl and tie the knot.

I liked that they ended it pointing out that tying the knot wasn't the object, too, though. But how pretty would a Romanov wedding have been? (Or would they have gone with Taylor's dream of a Squash Princess wedding?)

I wish Luke & Lorelai would've gone a little farther in that episode that would've been great to see

For all her drama towards her parents. It's comforting that Lorelai still cares and her scene with Richard at the hospital bed was sad. She loves her daddy.
She forgives Rory about what happened. Emily calls Luke an idiot about his "friendship" with Lorelai. And the best part, Lorelai giving Luke his present. Good Ol' Blue cap. The other ones were terrible. The blue hat rocks.

i know, i love those scenes too. it goes to show that even if things don't always work out well family wise, there's still love deep down.
