Very well put, Suoad. I think you're right. Lauren brings much of herself to the role of Lorelei.

yes she really does and this carachter is so special don't you think that she also can convey so many life values in the way she acts, talks ,reacts .....IT's really amazing and morover i've never been the kind of person saying oh i love that carachter so much or things like that never done this but for lorelai there is something particularly great as far as her personality 's concerned that's why i really admire her by the way call me sue thanks  Cheesy

So tell me Sue, what are your thoughts on Rorys pal Paris?  I didn't like her at first but it didn't take me long to love her in a big way. Lorelei and Rory are so sweet, Paris's personality mixes in some crazy intensity that really adds to the shows appeal.

"pal" is friend. At first they didn't get along but Rory got Paris to be friends.  I have no problems with your communication, Sue.  You are doing a great job with English. I'm also glad to hear how much you like and admire Lorelei and the girls. I think you're great!

thanks yes i think i'm great "no modesty" just jokking !
well now back to your question i think that the friendship paris-rory was useful to the show just because they needed somebody like paris so hard working, having the level, being jealous well somebody who would make of this school a hell for rory and of course she is useful to the show coz the girls are both hard working but paris is just jealou of rory because of her simplicity and the way people love her well i think that paris is a carachter that was useful to the show even if she sometimes gets on my nerves !!! Don't let Paris get on your nerves, Sue. Embrace her attitude. Some of the funniest lines of the show have been Paris's. Nobody can put a person down as wittily and quickly as our Paris. She's like the polar opposite of Rory. Can you imagine what it would be like if Paris relaxed a bit? Or channeled her intensity into partying or guys or something like that.  It's scary.

I TOTALLY agree what i meant is that sometimes she tended to have behaviors getting on my nerves but of course there would be something missing if paris wasn't in the show she's good but if you saw the bonus that we can find in the dvd's it's the contrary of her real personality and my name is sue i'll change it soon on the page !

There's nothing wrong with Rory. She surprises me sometimes....like traveling to NYC to see Jess while missing her moms graduation.  Eeep.

I'd honestly have to say that my favorite character (while not a "Gilmore") is Sookie.  She's probably the most "real-to-life" character on the show.

3) Lorelei...the Queen of the Gilmore girls
4) Emily.....the uptight, repressed engine that drives Lorelei to succeed
5) Lane.....the best friend a Gilmore girl could have
