Summary: A blinding snowstorm strands Rory (Alexis Bledel) at her grandparents' house giving Lorelai (Lauren Graham) a rare opportunity to spend the night with Rory's teacher Max (Scott Cohen), while the townspeople brave the snow to stage their annual reenactment of a Revolutionary war battle.

It's so sweet how Luke goes out to the re-enactors and brings them coffee and then even promises to make them tea and cocoa. Classic Luke moment!  |

I love this episode I love the part where Luke brings the people coffee and then turns around and sees Lorelai and Max I love the look on his face. And it's a little weird because in the first season Taylor wasn't that big of a charater so it's weird to watch

I think this is the episode where Lorelai has her rant about the magic of snow, isn't it? I don't remember exactly if it was in this one or the one after, but anyway, since there's "snow" in the title I'm assuming it's this one. I know it's cheesy but I really really share all her feelings about snow. I think it's so wonderful. Even though no major turning points in my life are connected to it, I think it's just magic and merely the sight of it makes my heart smile. So this is really one of my favorite episodes because of the rant about snow. She was speaking out of my soul.

I love snow too..the scene when Lorelai was so excited and happy about the first snow fall made my heart swell..it grew three times that day. And the episodes that feature wintery weather make me feel all cozy.... |

I totally know what you mean. Everytime I see snow, even if it's just on the screen - doesn't even have to be the Gilmore Girls - I automatically feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It's like coming home, only better. I actually spent a lecture looking for snow wallpapers for my laptop the other day and I found a few nice ones but the same evening it had to go because I found an even nicer wallpaper of Lauren Graham, so the snow had to go. Of course a combination would be perfect. Anyone?  |

We don't get snow where I live so its nice to see it on the show. I love the way Lorelai says she has a love affair with snow. Its very poetic. This is a great one again.

This is really one of my favorite episodes. I watched it again this weekend and it gave me the warm fuzzies. I love to see how jealous Luke gets when he sees Lorelai with Max and Lor's reaction to snow is priceless. It does seem like such a magical thing. Also, I tried grated parmesean on frozen pizza and it's AWESOME!

That sucks that you don't get snow where you live. I always did find it interesting and wonderful how people react to their first snowfall/winter. I get to experience that up in Canada in a major city where immigrants flock to and it happens quite often. As for my own thoughts about snow, I love fresh-fallen snow and I love looking at it when it's untouched on the ground, but I kind of hate it after a snowfall. When the snow is just left on the ground, it gets dirty and wet and I don't like that. I think I must have seen this episode 5 times. That's 2-4 more times than I have seen any other episode. |

My favorite part in this episode is when Emily and Richered try frozen pizza for the first time!! And then Emily does not even know how to work the stove cause she comes running to Rory when it buzzes meaning the pizza is ready!! I also thought it was quite cute when Luke saw Max and Lorelai walking together!! As for snow, I love to look at it, but not to play in it!! Too cold for me!! But like someone said, can't remember who, I love looking a fresh falling snow!! With no footprints in it or anything! Yes, that's what I love!!

Well ya, Rory kind of was completely ignoring her!! She was so into getting Dean his cookies that she did not even hear her say she had a crush on that guy!! And then when Lane tried to tell her about her touching his hair she asked why she would ever touch his hair in the first place and Lane was like because I like him!! Rory did not even know that!!! So ya, I do think that Lane had every right to be mad!!! |

I felt bad for Lane cause how extremely embaressing(sp?) would it be!!I felt sorry for Luke when he was giving them their hot drinks and he saw Lorelai and Max he looked heartbroken. :[
