I had family in Edinburgh that we spent a fair bit of time with, but we lived near Hexham in Northumberland in the mid to late 80's.

Sorry, I'm also another Aussie Louise, but my most favourite place that I ever visited was scotland...your countryside is beautiful!!!  Actually stayed with friends that I met here in australia, in a little town outside Linlithgow.  Which part of scotland do you come from?

Today it's dry bit it's cold and windy - a typical scottish summer- But it's supposed to be warmer tomorow. And yes there is always lots of green and grass  Wink
