I think that Lorelai and Rory's "break-up" thing had to happen to but it was really long and I think the worst part of the whole thing for Lorelai was the fact that she thought Rory was turning into the Lorelai she ran away from.
I think they should spicen up L n L's relationship to they need to do something...it seems all thats happening are threats to thier relationship like April and posponing and then Valentine's day thing! I mean wow just get married already so that there can be no more threats!

I've got a better question, who would you rather date? Lor or Rory? Nah just kidding Out of everyone on the show I'd wanna be Jess, because I love his whole appeal. And his "I'm a loner Dottie, a rebel" (name from a song by The Get Up Kids) attitude and the way he would'nt let anyone get to know him except Rory and kinda Luke.

I think they have an awsome bond! They are like best friends! They have their ups and downs but once they make up they are usually tighter then when they started fighting! So it all works out!

of course, I think they had an amazing conection that I wish I had with my mom and hope to have when I have kids.  I love how they are friends, though Lorelai does have her "mom" card.

Lorelai and Rory have an amazing relationship and I love the way they can talk to each other like friends. Lately however, I feel as if it has become a little rocky between them, especially last year.

well this is pretty obvious since this is gg forum that everyone would be lorelai and rory relationshipp appreciators. but  i diidnt find one and i wanted to comment on a little on their relationship. so here it is

1st of all. when do you feel their relationship was at the best?
i think it was best in season 1, it was AMAZING and awesome the otehr seasons too obviously but i think season 1 focused mosstly on their mother daughter relaionship since the show started and its the main purpose

also, for some reason i feel as though there relationship is not really the same anymore
even since that fight they had, i mean they did go back to normal obviously and are really close still
but i dont know why. i feel like season 6 is focusing mainly on their love lives and they just seem so involved with their love lives, that they just dont spend time otgether and share lives like they used to
 i really am not saying that i dont like their relationship in season 6
because it was still really good, i am just saying that i think the bond got a little weaker this season

yup. also i feel really bad for saying this because i love rory
but i cant help but feel this way
i feel like lorelai cant be really open to rory and share her true feelings on how she feels about decisions rory are making anymore.
because shes afrais rory will rebel or just a bigger fight will happen.

like for example when rory decides to move in with logan she calls lorelai for her opinion, and lorelai says last time she gave an opinion in rorys life they ended up fighting for months

even though lorelai didnt totally mean it i think she did mean it a little

before, lorelai said whatever, and so did rory

i just hope that they have more lorelai/roroy time than they did in season 6 i mean, they did not seem to spend as much time together as in previous seasons, which is a shame!
