the show wont have the same essence with DR as it did with AS-P, but he has written the SCPP episosde, and that was a good episode, he has experince i mean it wont be the same but i hope he at least asks AS-P what the ending as, and perhaps uses it/edits it in some way

it will be really sad when it ends, but i think it should end where it began really-lorelai and rory together, both of them getting what they deserve as characters, so it shows that although the characters have grown and changed, essentially they are still the same and i think a final episode like that would show this...

did that actually make any sense?!?!?!

I agree its not going to be the same without ASP and DP they were the best writers,I am sure David will do a good job just not as good as Amy.

sad.i still image my perfect last scene with them laughing at something,and being fun people like in the old times.and the camera would slowly zoom out until the picture just fades away.this is making me start to cry too!and then it would be a few sentences about how great the show was and stuff.omg.its sad to think about.

I Love Gilmore Girls
I agree that the Last  seasons haven't been good (5+6) During the season 5 finale I cried I was so mad it wasn't Rory
I think during the big fight of season 5 and 6 lost fans and were crappy episodes. Maybe ASP leaving will be a good thing. No matter what happens in the show I can't stop watching. I felt as if during the season 5 finale and season 6 with its stupid twists ASP was killing Gilmore Girls. It wasn't right. Long Live Gilmore. It has helped me so much more then I ever thought a tv show could I love Gilmore Girls.

Maybe Amy and Dan leaving is sorta good in a way because although the writing was awesome, sometimes the story wasn't the best. Like I think she thought Logan was the best boyfriend, they made Jess go away :[  and all the fights between Rory and Lorelai weren't really the best moments i dont think. So maybe by loosing great writing we will be gaining a great story! maybe!!

yea it does, i mean its only a TV show, but what a GREAT show, lets just hope its not spoiled im sure this guy will do alright enough, i mean im sure he knows the show well enought NOT to turn it in to sme soap opera or aomething silly, i mean its only 1 season (most likely) it will be what it will be, and hopefully it will be great!
