Ohhh you guys are making me blush here. That’s so sweet. Thanks you guys. I just hope I can be a good mod. It looks difficult, but I promises never to close a thread without saying why it’s been closed. Basically I’ll do what I’ve been doing only instead of saying ‘this will probably be closed as soon as a mod gets online so please stop posting in it’ it will be closed immediately. Kinda funny, I never thought of myself as a mod..(especially not when I joined this forum…to be earnest the mods scared me a little as a newbie)…so this might take some getting used to. And Janich O , no need to be nicer then you already have been. I firmly believe nothing has changed….accept that I can help the mods more easily now. Actually that was one of my reservations for becoming a mod. I didn’t want my fun time to start feeling like a job or something. So I hope it won’t.     

Man Heidi, you’ve been a busy little beaver haven’t you. I wasn’t online for a while and I turn on my PC and not only am I a mod, but the forum has a games board, we have new 'titles' and birthday announcements. Great job! I truly believe that not only can this forum get back to it’s old glory….it’s gonna be even better.

So thanks Heidi for making me a mod and for making this forum even better.

And before I forget. This is a funny milestone kinda post for me. Not only is this my first post as a mod, but it’s also my 1000th post.

Funny, I use to not even help out the newbies cause I always thought that if I helped out the mods they might feel like I was doing their job or something like that. Maybe they wouldn’t like it or something. Bullshit I know, but that’s what I thought. But when it got chaotic and I heard oldies being frustrated and the mods were really busy re-making this forum I started helping out the mods. Cause the more people that help keep the order the easier it is for the mods and maybe it will get our great forum back to normal faster. Well I couldn’t close threads so it was kinda me bluffing. Man was I frustrated when they didn’t listen to me….you have no idea. I’m talking screaming at my PC kinda frustrated. Seriously, we should appreciate the mods more. Cause they keep our great forum the way it is. But actually being a mod sounded to much like a job to me. Well I hope/think it will be the same thing as I was doing, but now I don’t have to ‘bluff’ anymore and when I see a spoiler in a spoiler free zone I can delete/ modify it to minimalise the damage instead of alerting a mod and having to wait till they go online. Cause during the time it would take a mod to see my spoiler warning some members would have already been spoiled.

So heidi, Summer and all the other mods: Thanks so much for your work and I hope I can help you guys a bit. Cause this is completely new for me, but well..ya have to try everything once right?!   

Ohh yeah, sorry if my English won't be great all the time. But I'm Dutch so it's not my first language. Ohh well, I'm in a different timezone so it usually is a time when there isn't a mod online.....now there is.  Grin

As I said before, congratulations WO and I really do think you will make a great mod.

I didn't know you could become a mod without being asked. I imagine you felt very weird when you went on and saw that you were a mod!
