Why do you all hate chris?

I can understand he didn't behave well when rory was still a kid ... but anyway ...he has always been in love with lorelai and they are meant for each other.
they are more than firends and lorelai still loves him.I am sure ..

I am sure his love triangle will last the whole season 7.

i don't hate chris.

i just think he took too long to grow and up shape up. it doesn't necessarly matter if he has, and i agree, always been in love with lorelai. it takes two to be in a relationship, and Lorelai seems to be extremely confident of her loving luke, despite his ass-ness in the past season.

i don't care if his love for lorelai lasts until he's an old bearded man. personally, that seems a touch pathetic to me. i'd like to see him move on and find someone else, the same way lorelai did.

I'm new here. I just finished watching the last episode of season 6 and i had to go somewhere to check up on when the new season is coming out. This forum is so big so i'm sorry if i'll ask some things that has allready been discussed.
Don't know why i chose this topic    So can anyone tell me when the new season is coming out? Is it written already?
And since you're discussing about couples in season 7.. here is my opinion:
I think Lorelai should be with Luke because she is really in love with him. The thing with Chris was just a BIG mistake and she will regret it big time. She was upset when Luke rejected her. But we all know that. They are meant to be together.
And for Rory and Logan... i truly hope they will stay together forever They are such a nice couple. True.. they had some bad moments.. but you can really see that they love each other even Logan is prepared to commit. I like him.. he's the right guy for Rory

amy palladino qitted the show,so we don't know what has already been written or not.D.Rosenthal is going to be the new creator.We will get to know the spoilers about the new season as soon as they start shooting.That will be in july.

Where are you from?

About your opinion I don't agree at all ... I think Lorelai shoud be with chris.

you know what I found out ....?
The new GG creator D.Rosenthal was already working on the show in the last few episodes.
He was the creator of "partings" ... I think the show is going to change a lot since he as been the new creator.

We were all sure that amy wanted Luke and lorelai to be together ... maybe the new creator doesn't like luke.Maybe he wants to see lorelai and chis together.

i do not think that luke and lorelai will get married. in fact i am almost positive because last time i heard anything about the next season of gg scott patterson (luke) had not sugned up for season 7. which means no luke. i am pretty upset, i mean L&L work sooo well together.
I am really upset about a new writer. i mean amy sherman-palladino already knew the last line of the whole show . . did u hear me . . i said the WHOLE show. idk. it just makes me sad.

I still vote for Luke and Lorelai, even if the view isn't all sunshine at the moment, but as somebody else pointed out, their relationship whether as an actual couple or as friends has been one of the pillars of the show, so I think it would be weird, and quite sad as well if all that were just chucked out with the ath water.

I like Christopher as well, and I have occasionally thought of him as a reasonable alternative to Luke, but no matter how stupid Luke has been acting or rather not acting through the last half of the season i still hope and believe that he and Lorelai will sort things out

HOLY CRAP... I really hope Lorelai gets married to luke and it would be sooo awesome if he got married to her on the same day that JESS AND RORY get married. I would love love love it!!

Jess and Rory wouldn't get married in season 7, though possibly after she graduates college and gets a job and they meet and realize it was ment to be.  At the moment though I think Logan and her are quite close to marrage.  I really hope it is just LL that get married, though with what some of you were saying before, I can see it not happening, but then I will be EXTREAMLY angry.  Also, in some extra of LL (when Nicole--or Rachel(I get their names confused--the 1st one)) was still around, they were sitting and one said "I love you" to the other then they realized, yeah, ok shows over.  So I feel that even the actors think that LL should/will end up in the end.  They better, I really hope everything works out.

I really hope that Rory doesn't get married, in my opinion she is to young and there is too much left for her to be explored unhinged.

Not that I think that she should break up with Logan or stay single all the time when she sets out to fulfill her dreams and goal,but I still think that it is easier to go exploring without the more binding commitment of wows and a ring on her finger.

I totally agree that Chris and Lor will end up together.  Theyre perfect! And I really hope that Jess and Rory end up together, but I hate to say I doubt it.  Does anyone know when season 7 starts?
