In Stars Hollow I will live. This small towns sometimes are cute. The way of living there is so quite and peacefull, and you know everyone so is kind of like living in home everywhere you go. Small Towns are perfect to get to know everyone, and maybe to get to know a LUKE. A perfect and strange guy who loves you a lot.
In Small Towns if you know a Luke you can always put your breakfast on the bill, because you can pay latter, like "you know the owner", is cool.
And if you feel alone you get a Paul Anka to stay with you. So cool...
Sometimes citys are soo stressfull and booring, and always cars and people everywhere and poluttion...small towns can be quite but not to quite...the perfect spot.

I kind of live in a place like stars hollow, its in the suburbs of st. louis, everyone knows each other, most citizens are entrepreneurs in some way, and its really similar, and as much as i love it and would love to live there, id probably rather live in the city...

If the small town was like Stars Hollow with the quirkyness I would love to live there! But if the small town is in the sticks with farms everywhere, then no. I used to always say I wanted to live in a big city, but now it doesn't seem so safe, lol. So I guess a small town (thats not in the farm country) wouldn't be so bad. Cheesy

I grew up in a big city and it wore me down. I now live in a much smaller city and there is more elbow room, more air to breathe. I have visited many small times on both coasts of the U.S. and generally the people are friendly and i love the atmosphere. I've heard about small-town people being gossipy and unfriendly to outsiders but i have not experienced this myself. I would definitely live in a small town someday if it made sense for my life (family, job).

I grew up in a small town like SH but way more rural, called Barnstead, NH... there wasn't even a real stop light, just a blinking yellow Smiley.  But there was TWO  convenience stores, lol; one K-8 school, not even our own highschool, we had to go to the regional one with 5 other towns- one gas station, one restaurant, the post office, the library, oh my, I think that was it! It was one of those towns that was really large square milege wise, so there was just lots of woods and farms, and it would take a half hour to drive to your friends house. We would catch fish with our hands in streams, purposely squish caterpillers with our bikes, make forts-- Country Fun! Grin

its seems really nice and peaceful, but then again everyone is up in your bizness and there is probably no where to go to be alone except your house. and also if everyone hated you it would really suck cuz you could not make any new friends cuz thats all the people there. yeah that would be really bad.

Speaking of the town...did anyone notice that Norbit was filmed on the gilmore girl set. im serious! rent the movie and watch it!!!![/b][/u][/color]

Yeah, I noticed it .. I wasn't to sure about it at first, so I checked on the internet after watching it, but I knew that I have seen this place before Smiley
Destroyed half of the film for me though cause I kept concentrating on all the details of the town *lol*

I voted that I'd love to live in a town like Stars Hollow ... but I think I am too much influenced by the show .. cause I only love because of the characters who belong to this town, who ARE this town. I don't know if I'd enjoy living there much with not having them around (and I am not too sure that would happen *lool*). On the one hand it's great, everyone's friendly, you know everyone and stuff .. but then again, such things can be really annoying cause people are talking a lot in such towns - very often behind your back .. everyone knows everythings from the other - that would really annoy me.
Also that you only have one supermarket, one bookshop etc. - I am really used to having a supermarket here every 3 minutes  Grin
God I am feeling like I am writing a +/- list like Rory would do *lol*

I think that paying attention to the Stars Hollow sets would be the ONLY way I could ever watch Norbit... I may actually rent that now, just for that... Cheesy
