Yes I confess -- I do *NOT* like the show -- ****I LOVE THE SHOW****!  I can't believe I missed Luke giving Lorelie the ring.  I honestly missed that part.  That will be one re-run I will not miss.  Okay, now I feel stupid

It's kind of funny, as my wife, Kerry, knows (just like all you ladies know stuff and we guys can't figure out how.  I know, though, it's a secret, and you can't tell me.) that I like the show.  You remember last season when Luke and Lorelie got back together?  How when Lorelie opened the door and there was Luke?  And there was this expression on his face that said more than tons of diologue.  And then he comes in, grabs Lorelie....Okay, let me stop.  That was getting a little weird. Well, no more weird, by guy standards, than what I did.  My wife was watching in the bedroom and I was watching in the living room.  Well, when that happened I let out a yell and went running down the hall.  I stopped at the bedroom door, and you know that thing both gals and guys do?  Where we make a fist, palm of the fist facing us, and we lift our arm and pull it down quickly and pronounce with all joy: "YES!"  Well, I think she kind of caught on after that.

Oh, don't feel stupid.  Technically, we didn't SEE it.  It was another unseen moment of Gilmore Girls.  You actually may have seen it and didn't realize it.  It was at the end of the episode, and Lorelai went into Rory's room, threw her water bottle and started crying.  Then you hear Luke come into the house and shout something like "Moon's out.  Moment's here.  Let's go!" summoning her to the ring unveiling (which we don't get to see).

I don't think Honor, Logan's sister, is making anything up.  However, I won't be surprised if we hear from Logan that he just told his family that to get them off his back about it because he didn't want to go into delicate detail over "we had a fight, and now we're upset, and we haven't spoken in a while, so I'm not sure what the status is..." so it was much shorter to just say they broke up to shut everyone up about it.  (I can't take credit for that thought... someone else mentioned it in the 6.10 episode thread).  But it's also possible that he read the fight and silence as a break up.

I just found out.  You might want to sit down first (though...if you're using a computer, why would you be standing?)

The next new episode airs...January 10th.  I know.  I feel the same pain.

I agree that perhaps Logan assumed that 'fight + silence + reappearance of Jess = breakup'.  He is not very experienced at boyfriend/girlfriend relationships.  Before Rory, he was mr. one-night-stand.  So, I am thinking... that he's thinking... that Rory thinks he is not good enough for her and that are broke up.  I also think that they are not truly broken up - only on 'hiatus'...

I think it is a mini-hiatus of one week. Off one week, then one new episode. Then the real hiatus. But, I could be mistaken.

I know I must have missed it somewhere but why was there no show on tonite (november 29th) and why are there old shows (back when rory started chilton) showing during the afternoons(I live on the East Coast in case that matters?) ? I seen on the thread where it was said that there will be no more new shows until January?  Say it isn't so! Will it be all old shows and reruns till January? Thanks for all of your help!! (going to go pout!)

There was a holiday special on Tuesday.  Felicity an American Girl story.  The show is on holiday hiatus till Jan 10th, so no new episodes until January.

Okay so I have found out that Gilmore Girls isnt coming on agian until January 10, 2006.  Last episode ended with everyone sitting at the table in the Dragonfly eating a Turkey dinner and Luke still hasnt told Lorelai about his long lost daughter.  He tried calling her but i dont know what that would have done. 

What do you think is going to happen?

as for the Luke situation, i have a bad feeling about it! i mean, Luke and Lorelai just made the deal about no secrets, and i don't think Lorelai is going to appreciate Luke keeping such a big thing from her. i also think that altough i was glad Luke felt like he could turn to Liz for help, she is a blabbermouth and i have a feeling the word is going to spread...

i'm also worried about the christopher and money situation. christopher is always SO unstable that i don't know how reliable he's really going to be. and emily and richard are going to be so hurt when they find out. was it really necessary for rory to cut her grandparents off completely? they've always been so wonderful to rory (other than what began happening the last few episodes when rory was living with them) and i don't think she's being very fair to them.

and what was with the random appearence by jess a few episodes back??? what do you guys think about him reappearing?

personally, i hope he comes back.

We really shouldn't be starting any new threads in this forum until a new episode starts.  Please visit this thread to see what I mean.

I am pretty sure this belongs in the Assorted previews thread, found here.  Even though there wasn't a new promo yet, that's where we should go to talk about future episodes.  My guess is Beth will move this thread into that one.

i hope lorelai is okay with luke having a kid i mean the kid and her mother dont really want luke so why should he be apart of her life.  i think jess should come back and then rory and jess can become boyfriend and girlfriend agian. and as for Liz i really dont think luke should have turned to her on parenting advice i mean not like how to be a parent but on how to be a dad like should he or not .. i mean look how jess turned out when he went to live with luke.  i dont know .  i hope jess is in the next episode .  not liz
