Summary: Rory (Alexis Bledel) realizes she is perceived as a loner, and her reluctant efforts to socialize land her in the most popular clique at Chilton, while Lorelai (Lauren Graham) volunteers the Inn as a venue for a Chilton fund-raising fashion show and is horrified to find herself modeling matching outfits with her mother, Emily (Kelly Bishop).

This episode was hilarious!!When Emily and Lorelai were on the runway and Emily started dancing,so Lorelai followed suit...and to top it off,Luke and Michel were there to witness it.

Those girls "kidnapping" Rory at night and them getting in trouble was fuuny,and so was Lorelai's talk to Rory for getting in trouble.   Smiley

Cheesy Emily and Lorelai going on that parade was really funny today I watch it and I coudln't believe Emily was dancing, she looked so ridiculous but it was worth it, lol, those two are really funny. Grin

I think the best part of that episode is when Rory stands up for herself to Headmaster Charleston.  It isn't very often that we see her take charge.  I'd like to see more of that part of her personality.  She has such good strong female role models that you'd think she would be a little more aggressive sometimes.

I know,Emily's dancing was hilarious,and so was Lorelai's...she looked a little embarressed at first but it was cool to see them having fun and hanging out together,even though it was for a couple of minutes.
Lorelai's face when she unzipped the case so she could see what she would be wearing was soo funny.lol

And Lorelai going crazy thinking that Luke was dating that woman shows that she soo likes him.

If I was Lorelai I would have freaked out. Another one of my favorite parts about this episode is where rory and Lorelai are walking to Luke's and Rory makes up the name of Walffle and say that she is from Belgim and that Walffle can be Lorelai's new name because Lorelai isn't model-e enough.Then Lorelai becomes angry and calls Emily and tells her that she has to modle to I thought that was really funny.

I agree it was pricless seeing Emily and Lorelai in the same outfit and dancing I loved it.
Lorelai was cute when she was jealous of the lady (played by Brenda Strong) because she thought she ask out Luke.

This was a funny episode. First of all, I think it was hilarious that Rory got "puffed." And then I thought it was good to show Lorelai and Emily together. Even though it doesn't really seem like it, I think those two deep down like each other more than they left on.

I liked this episode. It was pretty good. I liked how Lorelai got roped into doing more things at Chilton. The fashion show was great...

I didn't even notice that Rory was a kinda loner at Chilton... sure I noticed she didn't have much.. many.. any friends... but to sit at lunch time and read a book and listen to a cd player when you're surrounded by other people... that did kinda look sad and solitudary.

I agree that it was great to see Rory stand up to the headmaster when they all got into trouble regarding the Puffs, because she would have felt forced to have be with other people because of what he said.. but he didn't exactly say "break into my room" etc so it seemed odd she didn't get any visible punishment... I'm sure my high school would have if I was in a similar situation....

It was great how Rory got a fellow reader on her table after though Smiley

I couldn't help laughing at Emily and Lorelai at the runway, it was so hilarious. I also noticed one of the moms at the Booster club is Alice in desperate housewives.
