No matter how hostile and competitive Paris is, she's the teammate Rory can always count on to take up the slack and make sure the show goes on and gets an A. Lorelai's ambition is to find the right person with whom to build a "middle" life, but Rory's is to get into Harvard... And this isn't her last kiss with Paris, either. XD

Yep, and what i like is watching it gradually go both ways, as Paris acknowledges and respects Rory as her main intellectual challenge. There is the moment during the Romeo debate when Paris asks Rory what she thinks. It sounds to me like she truly wants Rory's opinion, not the kind of thing that comes naturally for Paris.

It's weird seeing Paris push for Brad to play Romeo, even if it's primarily out of disgust for Tristan. This might be the only time she did not chew up Brad and spit him out. Poor guy, i noticed in this viewing he called Paris "ma'am" when introducing himself.

Yes, I agree! Sometimes Paris will ask Rory what she thinks without really caring about Rory's response. However, in this situation I think that her interest was genuine and she really wanted to get Rory's opinion on the matter.

It was funny when Brad seemed to be afraid of Paris and started calling her ma'am. haha...I had forgotten about that. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, Citizen Jim! Cheesy

Ha! She's more Luke than Luke. Apart from the bit where he's a grumpy old man and she's a cute little blond. Well, and compared to  Luke, she set a land speed record letting a GG into her life, but you see what I mean. I wonder if there's any parallel to the way Luke and Paris let people treat them like dirt when they fall in love? I mean, every dating vulnerability Lorelai confessed (apart from hope) applies even moreso to the two of them.

I like that little Brad.  Oh, he's so cute with his wide-eyed face and ears.  He's so innocent and Paris wants him to be Romeo despite his nerves.

But nnnnoooo.... Dristin had to show up and just cause a whole lotta sh*t!  Well good riddance he got himself in trouble and going to military school.  Trying to get into trouble with Dean, pissing off Paris, and annoying Rory.  Man, he's got a death wish.  Plus, no more Tristin!  Yay!!!!  And Paris saves the day and gets everyone an A.  Paris rules!

Lorelai, dating a younger guy and then he shows up with his parents at Luke's.  Luke gets mad and Lorelai is in denial that Luke has feelings for her.  Come on Lorelai, the perfect guy is over there serving your coffee.  He's the father of your future children.

Luke and Lorelai's last scene was outstanding when she said she didn't have many people permanently in her life and was checking to see if Luke was
