This episode is one of my favorites too I loved when Lorelai chased Luke around saying "you are the only one who can save me from the double pathetic"

Dean was always really clingy and never let Rory have space,I liked him for a while then he got annoying.

I also loved that Jackson ask Sookie to Marry him that was so sweet Smiley

I love this episode because of the Rory-Jess picnic, I like the face he makes after tasting whatever that was in the tupperware! And I love the phone call at the end!  Grin

Yes i agree Dean is pertective but when you think about it Jess was Dean's like rival.  Dean might have thought that maybe Jess was just trying to use Rory to get to Dean's head.  Also that Jess wasn't the best person at school.  But as we all know that Jesss had a major thing for Rory and that Rory was starting to warm up to the idea and Dean didn't like it cause he loved Rory.

I love this part

Jess: excuse me Edger Burgen, I think Charlie McCarthy should answer now
Dean: Don't go
Rory: What do you think is going to happen
Jess: Yeah I think I would like to hear this one too
Dean: shut-up

I think that jess lovers are in love with this episode. Someone said that this one just
flows so well, and it's so true! And yeah, the last part with the phone call makes my sister
and I giggle alot, because jess's hair is all "just woke up looking."(that's a good thing)

One of my favorite parts of this epsoide is the fact that Lorelai and Rory put what ever they have left in their fridge in the pinic baskets.  Lorelai wanting people to bid on her basket so she can get work down around the house is funny too.

when jess finds rory's bracelet and puts it in his pocket, it's the first time he actually tries to test the dean/rory relationship which is a brilliant plotline, but initially looses it's appeal in later eps, in how he gives it back

Dean is ... ugh. He's really ugly in these episodes, so I was glad that Jess won her basket (which was obvious from the moment the bid-a-basket thing started because if Dean won it then it would be just another boring thing.)

Sherry, omg, she drives me insane! I can't stand her. She's too  Smiley Smiley Smiley and stuff, if you understand that. She needs to just, idk, chill a little bit.

And then Miss Patty, oh, you just gotta love her! She's hilarious.

This is one of my favorite Gilmore Girls episodes. I just love all the silly little charity events that they have. And the scenes with Luke and Lorelai in the gazebo is so sweet.

It it is a really cool epsoide.  I am not a big fan of Jess myself he kind of annoys me but he is really cute Kiss but I prefer Dean he is such a sweet heart.  I love that Sookie made such an extragvant basket and the fact that the whole thing is an eatable pretzel with goat chesse filling Cheesy.  That is so Sookie Tongue

Pretty good episode, but I didn't like this one quite as much this time around. The Sookie- Jackson moments were really nice. Jackson is such a nice sweet man.

I didn't really like the drama between Rory-Dean-Jess for the most part. He really was being an a$$hole outbidding Dean for Rory's basket. But he and Rory do get along really well and it shows at the end when she calls him.

Poor Lane, she and Henry never had a chance, I guess.  Sad

And Luke and Lorelai having a picnic. I liked this version of Luke, very sarcastic about everything.

You know, I wonder about that.  The actor who played Henry left to join another show (I think it was That 80's Show, or something like that).  So, they had to break them up on Gilmore Girls.  But, if the actor was still around, I wonder if AS-P would have let the relationship develop.
