I have a tip. If you want your lipstick to last longer (and whatever you do, do not use everlasting lipstick, it dries your lips a lot and it's a possible cause for skin cancer) try this: After putting on your lipstick, put a clean kleenex on your mouth (do not press it hard) and then put some powder makeup on it. It will seal the lipstick jus fine. The kleenex is because you don't want your lipstick to get powdered  Wink
I hope this helps, it works for me just fine

Carmicone, cool tip. I'll try that. And I never knew everlasting-lipstick was a possible cause for cancer. Even though I've never used it, Yikes, that's scary!

Well, there has not been a serious research about it, just that most of the everlasting lipsticks on the market lack of moisturizing ingredients, and what's worse, they usually don't contain solar filters, which may contribute to skin cancer. Cosmetic research is moving fast, and there are now some new everlasting lipsticks that incorporated ceramids (special mositurizers) and probably there is one with solar filter also.
I guess the better recomendation is: do not use everlasting lipsticks as your daily makeup in order to avoid the side effects of it. (I'm sorry if I'm too technical, but I happen to be a Chemist and my major interest is on Cosmetic Industry, that's wahy I like to do research on it)

You're a chemist?  That's cool.  My dad has been an analytical chemist for years, but now he works for with Regulatory Affairs.  Growing up in the house of a chemist I never had to buy sunscrean until I was in the Dominican Republic and I had forgotten to pack it.  What do you do and if you don't mind me asking, whom do you work for?  Feel free to PM me if you'd like, I'm just curious.

Hi! I donīt mind you asking, I already sent you a PM Wink
And, unfortunately, I don't have a job  Cry I've been looking for one for over a year, and either they ask for lots of experience (which I do not have because I just graduated) or the money they pay is just so low I couldn't even pay for gasoline to get there (Mexico City is such a big and crowded city, with busy traffic)  Undecided

Here's one-if you don't like or want to wear lipstick and you have some lemons/juice around, put it on your lips, it'll give them some color.  That's what they used to do in the older days.

A great skin tip is to dab distilled witch hazel onto pimples. The hazel dries the pimple out and helps them heal faster.

This really works

Avocado facial is good too. Once it dries up it feels refreshing. Don't worry, it won't dye your skin green. Cool

To make eyeshadow last longer and stay crease-free just dust eyelids with translucent powder before applying your eye shadow. It will absorb the oils from your skin, and keep your make-up looking fresh. Smiley
