mederma is "skincare for scars" so i think its sort of like..neosprin(sp). it ultimately gets rid of scars/stretch marks

andd..no one answered me alexis bledel/rory gilmore eyes question. i was curious how you can achieve the long-eyelash, subtle yet pretty eye similar to alexis bledel without eyelashes looking spidery and dried-out.

and the cucumber/vitamin E thing.. i believe that the cucumber reduced under eye puffiness/bags and well, to be honest, i have no clue what the vitamin E does. i assume its also got something to do with undereye circles.

i tryed the petrolium jelly on my eyelashes and it worked fantastically!! my beauty tip is get down to the benefit counter! i love all their products.
and if you have a big night out, go to your favorite make up counter and ask for a make over, most places do them for free

Okay I've got a tip!  And by the way Krisleigh, you rock!  That was quite a list, kudos to you! Cheesy

This is a beauty tip for beautifying your living quarters whether it be an apt or a home.  (Might not fit in this thread, but I wanted to share it!)

When cleaning out of room have a few baskets(laundry baskets/small crates/bags) dedicated to other rooms in your house.  While cleaning and decluttering you put the items from other rooms in the basket.  For example if I'm cleaning my bedroom I have 3 baskets, 1 for kitchen, 1 for office, 1 for living room etc.....and as I find items that have strayed into my bedroom I place them in their dedicated piles.  Once done I take them into the appropriate rooms.    Then you don't waste all of your energy running back and forth(and if you're me getting distracted).

It's possibly I got it from my favorite cleaning book....The Queen of Clean ...Linda C. Cobb.  Her ideas are incredible and she's got so many practical solutions to everyday problems.  Her books are also very entertaining, you actually want to read them and even though it's about everyone's least favorite thing to do..she's incredible.

Here's my favorite book from her...

Well, first I have to say that drinking water throguhout the whole day seriously works...I feel glow-y, (but make sure there's a bathroom, yesterday I downed a ton of water at work only to find the bathroom was out of order.)-It helps to drink a lot in the morning, after a night a eating too much snacks. Also vaseline does work on the eyelashes. Here's some more:
1. OK, the fake orange tan is so done..just use a bit of bronze powder.
2. If you have frizzy or thick hair, try Pantene ProV Smooth and Sleek De-Frizz hair repair, leave on in the shower for 3 minutes, ( it really helps out my thick hair.)It costs about $4.
3. I bought one of those lip glosses that claim to make lips slightly puffier, and the stuff I got is called "Lip Explosion"...it does seem to work, and tingles almost to the point of hurting, but it's not that bad....But be careful if you try it, because you MUST NOT let it go beyond your natural lip line or else it will make the area around your mouth red....also DON"T KISS YOUR BOYFRIEND right after applying the stuff!!!!! LOL, Janich o, your funny!
Anywho, thank you coffeegilmoregirl, for the thing about the Pantene thing.  For some reason after I had my daughter, my hair has been so thick and frizzy (I can't do anything with it, except cutting it).  It's sad though, I used to have the best hair--and I never did anything to it.  I guess it happens when you get older, oh wel Embarrassed .l

Hey I've got a beauty question for all of you smarties.  I hate the color underneath my eyes!  It seems like it shows the veins underneath and all, they always look like a have a bit of baggy eyes.  They are not babby it's just the coloring.  Does anyone know a way to get rid of that or at least a good trick for covering it up.  Cover-up just doesn't do the trick that well.

I use consealer and then put a little bit of that tan colored powder-y stuff  I can't remember what it's called over it.
Edit: Does anyone know how to get rid of fly-aways?

use a bit of serum on damp hair, then blow dry.

also, for the under eye thing, use a pencil concealer coz you can get it where you want and intensify the pressure to get the coverage you need. then go over the top with a tinted moisturiser to blend the colour, then some translucent powder to set it   Smiley
