Awwwww, this was the very first GG episode I ever saw, so it will always be special to me. I saw it when ABC Family was beginning to air GG and had a marathon of episodes. I remember liking Rory when I watched it and not being too sure about Lorelai, which is funny because Lorelai quickly became my favorite by far and away. Give Lauren an Emmy! I'm surprised to hear people say that Dean was mean in this episode when Rory was flat-out lying to him. The last scene - when Lorelai and Dean were looking in the diner at Jess and Rory - was very foreshadowing of things to come.

I really liked this episode alot. I loved how Jess came over with the care package "from Luke";; and when Dean came over and saw him;; Paris lied and said Jess was there for her.
I felt bad for Lorelai in this episode..she just wanted a nice relazing weekend at the spa and Emily was soo annoying. UGH.
But..it was nice how they kinda connected. kinda. LOL.
Has anyone watched the extra scene for this episode?? Its Paris telling her that Jess likes Rory.

this is probably my favorite episode from season 2. i liked how rory and paris were starting to become friends and emily and lorelai started to bond for a little while. my love how when dean came over jess says oh, you're doing that towering over me thing again. my absolute favorite part is
emily: "why would they call it vicious trollop?"
lorelai: "because dirty whore was taken."

I love it when Jess comes over and just sits down to eat! I was glad to see Paris covering for Rory that was really nice of her to do, and its good that Rory returned the favor by asking Paris to spend the night cause Paris obviously doesn't get out much!  |

I LOVED THIS EPISODE~!!
SIMPLIY BECAUSE JESS COMES OVER WIT FOOD FOR RORY & CLAIMS THAT LUKE SENT IT OVER.
EVEN THOUGH ITS OBVIOUS THAT HE JUST WANTED TO SEE HER.
I THOUGHT THAT WAS COOL. & HOW HE JUST INVITED HIMSELF FOR DINNER
I JUST LOVE JESS. & I THINK DEAN OVER REACTED WHEN HE CAUGHT JESS THERE.
BUT WHATEVER I JUST DONT LIKE DEAN. HES FINALLY STARTING TO REALIZE THAT RORY IS INTO JESS.

This is one of my favorite episodes of season two for many reasons...
Emily acts so funny at the spa, when she goes on and on about the mud bath, and Lorelai resorts to going into the "quiet room" to shut her up, and then pushes her out to show her the sign..classic! Emily almost sounds like Lorelai as she goes on and on and on about the mud bath. "did yours have twigs in it? Because mine had twigs in it!"
The whole scene with Emily and Lorelai and the mysterious "silver fox" played by Hal Lynden. I like how he hits on Emily and she basically has no idea he is doing it. He eventually has to say to Lor "help me out, would ya?"
You can't go wrong with the Lounge act that was playing the music. If you know your lounge singers you will know the act is the imcomprable Marty & Elayne...from the Dresden in LA. Some of you might remember them from the movie "swingers." Yes, they are a real act, if you are ever in LA, go to the Dresden and check 'em out!
The whole Paris getting mad at Rory thing, some of the lines she uses are hilarious! "so you have a hot date with Mr. Peanut" and "I hear there is going to be some hot knitting later on." good stuff!

Oh, Dean only became a jerk during season 4.  But I reallly do love this episode. I adore seeing that scene with Paris and Jess discussing everything. "Do you like hot sauce?" "I don't know. Should I?" That made me run around the house screaming "Oh my god, Paris was flirting with Jess!" Then I ran into something. Not so fun. But the episode is really good. I love every minute. And I would have cut something for that scene with Rory and Paris talking about Jess. I'm SO glad that other people do stuff like run around the house all excited during those best moments... i just can't contain my excitement! I Loved this episode so much... Jess being bold, Paris saving Rory from Dean freaking out, and Rory finally realizing Dean SO overreacts. Before he becomes a total jerk you see the Jess/Rory relationship in its blossoming times!  I love this one! |

I seriously love tihs episode, b/c when Lorelai makes emily steal the robe! Cause emily was seriously talking about it the WHOLE FREAKING EPISODE!
I also thought it was funny that emily thought she comitted adultry cause she danced with that man!

I really liked the bonding that emily and Loralei had. It was great that they could spend the time together. I also loved how Paris covered for Rory when Dean asked why Jess was there. That really showed how their friendship was blooming. I wish that they hadn't cut the scene with Rory and Paris talking about Jess.

Just started watching Season II on DVD. So jess and Rory finally hooked up,  i can't wait to get there. I think jess is really cool for him to have beaten Dean to the Rory game then he must have more to offer. Really enjoyed myslf here. GG is the tightest show around  |

I like this eppy too I loved it when Lorelai told Emily to steal the robe that was great.
It was nice to see them bond even for an episode,I just hope someday they can resolve there silly issues.
