ohh, neat.  Yeah, strange how the US used to be.  But that is cool that you know that.  Some people don't know if their name was changed, and others know but have no idea from what.   When my mom's dad's family came over because they were Russian in school all of the 3(4) boys would spell their names differently, lol, so the principal brought them to the office and told them they had to decide on one way to spell it.  Somehow people decided on my grandpa's way.
sorry if that was a little off topic.

My boss is Irish, I think his accent is fantastic, It puts me in a good mood, except when he swears too much...he swears a lot but it sounds funny.

haha.  I love going to Irish Pubs with my family and all the traditional Irish music.  My aunt had Irish stepdancers at her wedding--hummm...or was it at my grandpa's 75th party.  humm, lol, either one.

I was a regular at a Melbourne pub once which is called 'Pugg Mahones' which Im sure the Irish people know means 'Kiss my A**' I loved the feel of the place, the walls were lined with books like it was an old fashioned library. I miss the place.

yeah, I do think that irish pubs have a homey feel to them.  I like that, especally when I go with my grandpa, aunt kerry, uncle and other people on my dad's side of the family.

I have been -lived in ireland two mothns,it was two years ago but I loved this place.
Most beautiful landscape I have ever seen.I was in Galway and  I had to attend school there because I was on school-exchange.
The very fisrt day i understood nothing, the accent is very difficoult if you are not used to it.

I have been to Dublin, great city and I visited connemara. The most beautiful thinngs I have seen are the aran islands and cliffs of mohers.
