Summary: Wanting Lorelai's (Lauren Graham) graduation from business school to be a big event, Rory (Alexis Bledel) secretly invites her grandparents Richard (Edward Herrmann) and Emily (Kelly Bishop) to attend. Lorelai is surprised and touched when her parents show up, but her happiness turns to worry when Rory misses the ceremony because she cut school to spend the day in New York with Jess (Milo Ventimiglia).

I love Rory's final monologue of this episode. I could watch it over and over again.

When she tries to punish herself? I'm just like that. Other favorite moments of this ep?

I love when Rory goes to New York to see Jess and she talks about her Withering stare and he tires to get her to show it to him. Awwww so cute! Grin

I totally agree! When Rory says, "it's dangerous... I could hurt you!" I found that so adorable.

One of my favorite episodes it actually made me sad, When Lorelai looked up at her mother and Emily started to cry tears of joy. Such a great moment!

This whole episode is great it is hard to pick a favorite but i have narrowed it down to 3
1. one would be when at Lorelai's Graduation Emily and Richard came and when her name was called Emily started crying and the look on Richard's face very easy to remember.
2. would be when Rory went to see Jess in New York when she finnaly found him I thought it was cute that he was some what concerned about her arm.
3. Lastly I would have to say the part where Chris calles lets just say I am not a big fan of Chris but it was cute that he sent her a present and he told her that he was proud of  her but of course who wouldn't be?

ive got a huge question...and i fear nobody can help me out of that...

do you remember when jess and rory go to that cd store?

that underground music shop?

there is a song in the background, while they are in the store...

do you have any idea what that song could be?

or where i could find out about it?

What I love in this episode is at the very, very end, when Lorelai says to Rory "you might be falling for Jess." That line is so powerful, just because that's obviously what's happening, and Lorelai knows it. (I'm leaving out the irony of Lorelai - who lived her life for eight years, not knowing that someone she saw every day had a thing for her - figured that out before anyone but Jess)

Lorelai: Ethics?
Rory: Highly subjective and completely overrated.
Lorelai: That's my girl!

I thought it was a great epsoide.  It was nice to see Emily and Richard be proud of Lorelai for once.  You could tell it meant something to all of them.  But what was with that camera guy and the lighting guy trust Emily to go over the top.

Awww! I was really mad at Rory though for going to see Jess and not seeing her own mother's graduation. I kept hoping the whole episode long that she would make it back in time but that didn't really work ...

It just has to be a great episode with Seth MacFarlane in it. I also read that Lauren Graham was in an episode of Family Guy... what's the connection there ?

I was mad at Rory too!!.  She should have thought like she normally does and not gone to see Jess.   Angry.  Her mothers graduation was much more important.
