LOL! i remember i freaked out.. i actually jumped out off my couch and looked through my DVD set to see if i put in the wrong DVD, but by the time i did that the scene had already ended .

i love the dream lorelai has. i remember watching this episode in reruns on abc family and it was my first time watching season 3 and i remember thinking "OMG, what happened? Did they skip a season?" and then you see lorelai wake up and call rory. then i started to breathe again. i love when rory tells lorelai that lorelai is in love with luke and lorelai rejects that analysis of her dream and says she wants a new one. so funny! it also took about 2 weeks to get the lazy-hazy-crazy days of summer song out of my head.

I like this episode to. I thought it was sooo funny when Jamie comes to take Paris on her date and Paris makes Rory hide in the closet!! I to thought Rory was acting a little brartty in this episode, but she was also in a really tough spot which I can see that to. And of course I loove the makeup between Luke and Lorelai,

Aside from Rory not being happy with what she had, I do have to say that I felt a little bad for her.  Her and Jess did have some chemistry going on in season two.  And now she is back and probably wanting to continue the "friendship" and she sees  that he has totally moved on which was a big "slap in the face" if you will.  Taylor was really funny in this eopisde.  I took me weeks to get the crazy song out of my head!

i loved this epi. i can recite the dream sequence word for word.(i wont do it here, i might get snarked.) my friends think im a little nuts. THe first time my brother watched this (we have them on DVD, adn yes my bro watches them) eppie he said "wait. what happened to nicole? " and then Lor woke upa dn he was liek ohhh!
The "Whole package" scene was such great acting.
best quote of the season. Emily: Its a scone mix. Lorelai: well, thank you mom. I will put this on my counter and stare at it for MANY years to come!

i was quite sad that jess and rory didn't talk!!!
i thought it was quite sweet that rory didn't know what write. personally i was thinking what are you doing rory cos i would write something along the lines of "i love you jess i don't regret kissing you and i'm gonna break up with dean" except i'd put it more subtley!!!LOL

I loved Lorelai's dream it was awesome I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
When she called Rory and asked her why she was dreaming about Luke and she wanted another explanation other than the one Rory gave her it was so obvious she liked Luke.

The bad thing about this ep was that darn song Lazy Hazy Crazy Days of Summer got stuck in my head,everytime I hear now It gets stuck for a while LOL!!

I'm sorry but I couldn't stop laughing at the dream Lorelai had. It was all kinds of funny. Heck, season three was the funniest premiere (well of 1 and 2 that i've seen).

And that red/pink dress Lorelai was wearing in an early scene was HOT (because the wind blew it and you could see her whole bodies outline). I wonder if she was wearing any underwear

however that song is so annoying!
i thought it was quite sad though when lorelai got upset about the 'whole package' thing though cos you realise that she never really had it and you don't often see lorelai have a breakdown is it just me or does she have a lot of breakdowns infront of luke
i personally thought it was quite sweet the way that rory didn't know what to write now i can't tell if it was the writers who couldn't figure out what she would be feeling at that point or whether she actually was just lost for words? who knows??
i still don't get why jess was with that girl cos he didn't know that rory was still with dean.................??

I love this episode! but dean is soo annoying! rory needs to get back together with jess and leave logan because logan kinda turned her into a whole new rory and I like the old rory better.

Oh maybe you're right... nevermind! I wish I could turn it on again and see for myself. Maybe somebody with a DVD could help us out!

It does say "Dear Jess".  She opens that binder and it's full of letters from Dean, but when she sits down to write a letter, it's to Jess instead.  I don't think she knew what to say, though, and ultimately she didn't send it because when they get into that argument later, he mentions that she kissed him and split, then that he didn't hear from her at all during the summer, so she should have no qualms with him having moved on.

I felt so bad for Jess, I mean, he liked her soooooooo much! And then she kisses him nad then she leaves! Jess must have been heartbroken! And then Rory gets mad he had a girlfriend,that he didnt even like! (thats what i got from it!) Usually, I reli like Rory.But she makes me mad in this Eppy.Acting likes its Jess' fault!

I agree...that lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer song was annoying!  It got stuck in my head wayy too much... I finally had to download the Nat King Cole version of the song so it would get out of my head.

I loved the Congressional Brunch that they were at with actually US Rep and Senators!

Aww Paris and Jamie date was so adorable.  They were so good together.

I also thought it was cool how Lorelai and Rory meet at the airport. 

Also, I thought it was really sad when Lorelai had to tell her parents about her and Christopher...I felt bad for her...
