luke and jess are so funny together cos even though usually it seems that they don't get along actually they work together quite well together!
i thought lorelai and rory were a bit out of line egging jess' car especially after the previous episode how he helped her with the sprinkler
he got wet for her!!!!
i'm not complaining his hair looks so good wet!

Arrgh!  I didn't connect the sprinkler thing before.  That makes it worse, because not only did he help, he fixed it so Dean wouldn't know and she wouldn't have had an awkward time with him. Which was a much bigger gesture than Jess has ever made wrt Rory's relationship with Dean.  And, in this episode, he didn't do anything to Rory.  But, looking at the transcript, I know why she did this juvenile act.  Shane.  She was acting out of jealousy.  Not that she had any right to act that way.  And, Lorelai was worse.

perhaps it was cos of shane cos otherwise i'd still be mad with her or maybe it was cos her mum was upset and she would do anything for her mum, we know this already, even if it means egging jess' car which i do not support seeing as he has not done or said anything rude to her in this episode and i agree with you about the sprinkler thing, turning it off so dean could fix it was a huge gesture of his feelings for her.

I'm sorry but I loved the fact they threw deviled eggs at Jess's car. I'm not a huge Jess fan his attitude stinks until later in the show but that's just me and that should probably be under character post but I had to add that sorry. But yeah loved the dish out.
And Amy for gods sake woman we want to know what he was protesting!!!!!! Welll I do!

yes i agree with you about the protesting thing but not with the jess thing what she did to his car was cruel and childish and i can see why she did it though.
it wasn't cos she didn't like jess it was because of her mum and because of shane and i have already said this earlier in this post but who cares.
i love luke and jess together they are so funny! "look at you eating apple pie"!!!!!!!

I loved this eppy(not as a literati,but just in general! I think Rory shoudnt have done that to Jess) but still,at the end it was hilariose! Luke was cracking up.And one of the classic lines "Greens the new Pink!" lol i still use that line....lol i find this eppy hilariose!

I loved the deviled egging.  Maybe not the attitude they should've had, but it was still funny. 
I really want to know what he was protesting too!!  It's bugged me every time I watch this episode.

There's a lot to love in this episode. "Green's the new pink" which led Lorelei to rant later, "what's next, Red's the new blue?". Lorelei rearranging the medicine cabinet and Rory later fixing it. When Jess admitted to Luke that he worked 12 hours a week at Wal Mart and Luke asks him if he wore a vest. It cracked me up. And I liked the way Luke busted Kirk for using bogus gearhead terminology. And Kirk wanting to have his patty melt cut in stars or squares. And the way the minister and rabbai were mocking Taylor. But I think the funniest part was when the Town Loner was protesting something or other and he hosed it all up. The banner was backwards then tore and finally no one could understand the rant he was giving from the church tower. A fine episode.

Average episode. Not one for me to watch over and over.
Highlights:
1.) RORY (not Lorelai.) egging Jess' car.
2.) RoRy. GiGi.
3.) "Green's the new pink."
4.) Wal-Mart.
5.) "Stop the noodle scoos."

This episode was very inspiring for me and my cousins. Although we couldn't make deviled eggs, we did cook eggs and put curry powder on them and throw at them this guys car that we hated at the time. It was ALOT of fun!

I loved this eppy.SO many classic lines. So many I quoted. One time my friend wore pink to school,then wore green and I mumbeld*loudly enough so she could hear* "well,I guess she was right.Green IS the new pink." lol it was hilariose. Plus,the "gettaway car" noise Lor and Ror made at the end of the episode,my gosh,I loved that.Me and my sister do that all the time when were drivng.I loved this eppy. And Rory singing kariokie.*wipes a tear away from laughter* I loved this eppy!

When I was about to watch this I wandered...what's with the title? Eggs?
And then when Lorelai started mocking Sherry and her friends lol that was a good one 
And all that Jess having a car after the accident was the same as when Dean and Rory broke up and the whole town was against Dean. I also don't think Rory egged the car because of the car thing...maybe Shane, yes.
All in all, good one
