this was a great epsoide and lorelai rearranged sherrys medicine cabinet because she was mad and did'nt know what else to do.  What would you prefer she do.  She was just upset thats all I thought this epsoide was really well done.  It was so funny and the dialogue between jess and luke was just brilliant

Well, while I can understand rearranging Sherry's medicine cabinet better than the indefensible act of vandalizing Jess' car, there are other things she could have done to relieve her feelings.  After leaving Sherry's home, where she was a guest, she could have snarked Sherry to Rory (not mature, but Sherry wouldn't know it was happening), she could have pigged out on junk food, she could have gone home and beat up her pillow or kicked it.  She could have said that she was mad, but she wasn't going to act out like a child, since Sherry hadn't dome anything to her.  And, no, Sherry didn't.

Rearranging Sherry's medicine cabinet wasn't the worst thing Lorelai could have done, and people do sometimes act out when they're upset.  So, I don't think Lorelai needs to be boiled in oil for it, but there were other options.  But, there is no excuse for the egging Jess' car.  There are only two character traits of Lorelai I don't like.  Her tendency to occasionally be too lenient on Rory, and the way she takes out her frustrations on innocent people.  This was one of them.

I thought the scene where rory and lorelai egged jess's car was funny and great, however, in real life you could be in serious trouble for that. Just one of the many ways tv is unlike the real world. lol. o well, funny episode. I loved it.

Just saw this DVD yesterday. Well, i thot the egged jess's car was not a bad idea afterall he smashed lory's car(technically)
Sherry is pretty annoying, all that ranting about how good Chris has become, i just felt like shoving paper in her mouth.

Aside from the saying that two wrongs don't make a right, Lorelai and Rory didn't egg Jess' car because of the accident with Rory's.  They egged it because Lorelai was upset with Sherry.

And, if it was a spur of the moment thing, I could be more understanding.  Like if Rory and Lorelai were just walking, holding the eggs, and talking about Sherry and it all just built up, and she started throwing without thinking.  It would still be wrong, but I could get the need to vent and to do it without thinking.  But, second to just taking out her frustrations on an innocent person, Lorelai also took the time to tell Rory that it wasn't a good idea.  And, then did it anyway.

I thought it was halarious when they egged Jess' car it was classic,it was really funny when Lorelai was trying to sqeel away and she couldn't do it so they just made the sound.

I couldn't believe how rude Sherry was to Lorelai I just wanted to smack her and say do you relize you are being very rude and uncaring about Lorelai's feelings.
I wish Rory would have left the bathroom all messed up, it would have served her right even though, it was a little childish on Lorelai's part but she deserved it.

Aside from being extremely insecure, I don't think Sherry did anything horrible.  I don't think she was taunting Lorelai with her comments about Christopher. There was no reason for her to assume that Lorelai had her heart broken when Christopher left (no reason to think that there was even a matter of Christopher leaving her).  I think she was pretty much marking her territory. Considering Lorelai and Christopher's history (not to mention Rory) and the fact that he went to see Lorelai right around the time when he and Sherry were having huge problems, I think I'd feel threatened in Sherry's place.

I highly doubt Sherry knows anything about what went on at Sookie's wedding.  It seemed Christopher was going to try to make a go of their relationship.  So, he wasn't likely to tell her that he and Lorelai had made plans to get together and start a relationship of their own.  Sherry had no reason to think that Lorelai would be hurt or angry with anything she said.

Unpopular opinion, but in this particular triangle, Sherry is the most innocent.

this ep was kind of funny but not great. The whole egging jess's car thing was funny but it was inappropriate. she could have done something else to get her anger out.

I think this is the episode where the town loner makes his protest and they all get upwind from Jess's car. I know it's trivial but I watched this episode recently and dang it I want to know what the hell the town loner was protesting about! My curiousity has led me to lots of googling but no luck so far. If anyone knows or is able to find out yay!

Okay, one word that summarizes up this eposide- Akward!!!

Put yourself in Loerlai's situation- she is going to the babyshower of the person who she deep down inside wants to be with.  I really think that deep down inside Loerlai is feeling like the babyshower should almost be her babyshower and she should be the one with Chris.  Now don't get me wrong, I am not the biggest Sherry fan, however, I don't think that she was delebritly trying to hurt Lorelai when she was praising Chris infront of her.  I just think that is part of Sherry's "perkieness."  I think that she was trying to be honest with Loerlai and I don't think she ment anything by it. Just a little side note- Her friends were really annoying!

i could not agree with you any more. we all know how sherry can go off into one of her little rants in an instant. lorelai was definitely hurt by her saying all of that stuff because sherri was saying how great chris has been during the pregnancy. obviously from the look on lor's face, we know that chris was not there for her. granted they were 16, but the guy has to help a little bit.

i thought sherri was being a little snob and rubbing it in that SHE got chris and not Loreli!! but the deviled eggs on jess's car was BRILLIANT!!!!! Cheesy

She is reli a snob, i think! And 'greens the new pink'? Is that crazy or what? Still, without that episode, how, oh, how would we be in the position to hate sherry, and call her a snob? And the thing on Jess' car! Oh, that was hilariose! I loved the part when they were trying to make the jeep make the gettaway sound, but coudnt so they made it themselfs! Me and mysister were laughing over that 4 days!
