Fun and Games Board/Overall Organization

Hello ORG Forum-ers,

By now you've probably noticed the new Fun and Games board.  It has been created in hopes of helping to better organize the Forum.  Not only that, but in the coming days and weeks I hope to better organize the whole Forum in general.  I think this can be done by giving better names to certain threads, merging other ones together, and closing duplicate topics.

I want the Forum to be easy to navigate for everyone, from seasoned vets to newbies.

I'd love to hear any thoughts or suggestions that you might have ... so please feel free to share.  Thank you!

I think the Fun and Games section is a good idea. Thanks for keeping the forum organized! I think it is definitely easier to get around here than other places!

humm, just a thought, but there are other little games in there too.  Like matching GG character up with a character form another show which is listed in the person before you's post.  I don't know if you want to add things like that to the fun and game bord too?

  Thank goodness!  Now I don't have to go thru all the General discussion to find a game.  Nlr do I have  to go thru all the pages of games to fin the topic I want to write on.  Thank you Heidi and all who put it down, I appreciate it so much!  I'll go hunting for it!

Well, I think this is a great idea. There are lots of games at the general discussion board and it was time for them to have their own space. Thanks Heidi!

I think it's a great idea too.  Easier for people who play the games to find them and also helps organize the General Discussion area more.  I was wondering, is there a place (a thread or whatever) where people who want to chat can go (without using the shout box option on the home page)?  I've noticed a few threads are getting people chatting, rather than being on topic and if there were a thread for those online to just chat about what they want that'd cut down a bit on that happening in other threads? I'm not against people who are online at the same time chatting but sometimes when you want to read a thread it can be a bit much to have to go through a few pages of just off topic chat.

I actually love everything that you have added today. Like the info on the bottom of the home page. And I'm not sure how long it has been like this, but I noticed the number people viewing the topic thing. I think that is pretty neat. I'm excited with all this new stuff!

K let's see how many people I can peeve off with this suggestion

Is there any chance to move the role playing / story, etc out of the actor/character thread on the cast/character threads to the games or another section? So people can actually go to a thread and discuss news tidbits about an actor if something comes out and/or about their character instead without having to go through 60 pages of fanfic writing (role playing) instead?
